It took me a year and a half to actually get out of my body so dont worry-- keep practicing and u'll do it! I know u probably here that a lot (practice practice practice) but its the only way u'll really be able to achive it. Just keep telling yourself that you can do it and keep working on it. Everynight before i go to bed i attempt to AP and same thing when i wake up. Ive gotten really far since a year ago so i know you'll be able to do it also also--if u havent already..read Astral Dynamics because it is so freakishly good.. it tells u everything you need to know and more. Ive read so many different books on AP and most of them told u what AP is and such and maybe one or 2 ways to have an OBE. It takes different people different ways to leave their bodies, so one method isnt gonna work for everyone.. and then i found astral dynamics which tells u so many ways its like WOW. It really helped me and im sure it will help u too ^_^ Also-- if one method isnt working for you try another! there are a ton of books and sites on the subject ---just do a google search on astral projection and you'll find a ton I hope this helped you... if you want some more specific advice on how i AP i'll be glad to teach u too

it is still hard for me. i havent achieved AP yet it stinks i have read all the astral pulse guides and the NEWs and i still cant do it maybe i am just stupid

Isr you have to keep trying, because in my opinion it's not possible for everyone.  If you half a** it thinking that because "anyone can do it" then you won't dedicate yourself enough.  Even if you know about it, know all the techniques and how they are done, and practice them all the time you might not ever succeed.  But you will never know unless you -know about it, know all the techniques and how they are done, and practice them all the time.  May sound a little disappointing, but it's reality.  If EVERYONE can have an OBE then why are there so many posts on this site from folks who "have tried everything" and still nothing?  My advice is that all you can do is try.  You might not ever get it, but you DEFINATELY will never get it if you don't keep trying.  If you quit today, how do you know you wouldn't have succeeded tomorrow?

OK we all know that OBE is very difficult in the beginning but you shouldn't stop to try!
It took some people even more than a year but it worse, believe me!
So, you need a motivation practise? hmmm... well I'll tell you about my way:
It took me 2 months to actually project, I practised in my room quitely with a bit of light but still in the darkness. I first entered the hypnogogic state and I must say it was really hard for me too because in the beginning I always fell asleep so that's why I suggest you to make sure it's not too dark, do it in the day - afternoons when you are nnot too tired.
Tell me how you tried it and I will try to give you more details
