Where is the silver chord...?

I have never seen a silver cord, but it should be noted that I usually don't project into the real time zone where it seems to be most seen and I have never actually looked at my body.

I have heard it said that the silver cord does not even exist, that those who see it have merely been conditioned to see it! I am sure that Bruce himself says this, but I may be wrong, it has been 2 years since I read Astral Dynamics, and I no longer have my own copy. So I have to rely on my fudgy memory. Perhaps Nagual you should check what Bruce has to say about it, I reckon that is your best bet.

No, in "Astral Dynamics" Bruce writes that the silver cord does indeed exist, but, as any other body part of the astral, is only seen/felt if deliberately looked for.

William Buhlman writes that only the first energy body (which would be Bruce's "real time body" or the esoterics' "etheric body") has a silver cord that connects it to the physical. So if you have projected a "higher" body, you won't experience it. The idea about being conditioned to the cord also deserves some consideration. However, many early projectors (e.g. Muldoon) experienced the cord although they didn't know anything about OBE at this time.

I've experienced only real time projections close to the physical so far and almost everytime felt (and sometimes seen) the cord.

I've never seen the cord either but I will not reject the idea that it exists as there must be a connection channel between the physical and astral bodies in order for them to communicate with one another and the cord may very well be this nexus.
