Spirit Guide

Hey guys,

I am quite new to astral projection, but have been interested for years. after some outstanding epieriences with third eye exercises, the whole thing fascinates me, and seems like an important progression in my life.

However, I would like to be very careful, I am aware of forces out there, and also aware of my complete lack of experience. So I would like to know how to contact my spirit guide, and also some protective techniques.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have already been interested in AP, it could be that your guide is already trying to contact you, and all you have to do is to be "out" there, or want to be out there.  It was my experience anyway, that my guide had been trying to contact me for quite a while, and I had been ignoring this, or trying to anyway.  Once I made the contact, I never was concerned (well, most of the time anyway) about any other entities out there that may have been thought of as potential threats.

That sounds great, I  think contacting my guide is my number one priority. When your astral, do you literally call for your guide?

I have a mental image, if that is the right description- of the essence of my guide.  And I know that if he (or whatever it is) is present, they will help me. I will think of this image, and put my "arms" out above me. My guide then swoops in and grabs me by the hands to take me where I may need to be.  It has been this way since I accepted that the guide was a well meaning entity.  See my blog in the early postings to read how this happened. . .
