Enochian Square Tablets for Projection

I am assuming that they are not suppose to make you project, but rather meditating on them while trying to project will take you to this certain place. It would work along the lines such as the Astral Pulse Island, I would assume. Having many people thinking about the same thing should draw them together on the astral. But this is just my thoughts. I find it odd the book does not say anything about how to use them if it says they are so important.

Yes that's what annoys me. It stresses the vast importance of these damn square tablets, insists that you learn how to project with them, but never explains how. Maybe you're just expected to "know" or maybe or maybe you have to join a coven for it because it's one of those secrets you can't put in print.

I really don't want to join a coven. Especially not one of those snotty high ceremonial ones. Those people annoy me. They sure do think a lot of themselves, if you know what I mean.

You said Enochian... are they Enochian text or tattwa symbols?
What book did you get this information from?

I've never messed around with Enochian but I've heard it's dangerous.  Lots of weird stories about possession, enslavement and hauntings caused by using it.  So, I guess, be careful.  

That said, there's an Enochian Tarot that may be useful for projection.  "The Vision and the Voice" by Crowley is his record of his work with Enochian.

I've got "Modern Magick" and "The Enochian Workbook" and a few others that mention it in passing, but just a chapter or two.

Yeah, I've heard all the spook stories, but they tell the same ones about astral projection. "What if you come back to your body and someone else is in it?" "What if you go out and forget to come back?" "What if you get lost?"

So I take all that with a grain of salt. And it's not like I have't dealt with non-human upper-level entities before.

Occult texts, especially the older ones, are riddled with 'warnings' and threats. These were mainly a way to scare the uninitiated into not wanting to try any of the rituals. Usually just another way to protect the secrets. Any threat of occult danger should always be taken with a grain of salt.

What's the source of the book? Who published it? GD? Crowley?

You might find an answer at http://www.hermetic.com/ but it contains a very large amount of information. Unless you know the source / what you're looking for you migt have a lot of material to weed through.

I've read Modern Magick and don't recall anything about tablets but I've always found the symbolism used in the occult to be most interesting. I'd love to see a picture of one of those tablets you got.

Okay, so I've got these books here with bunches of these square tablets that projectors are supposed to use in order to go to specific places on the astral plane.

But does anyone know how these things work? How do you use them? All I do is sit and stare at them.

I've never needed a tablet before and don't see why I'd need one now, but the book seems to insist there's a way to do this in an orderly fasion where you accomplish one goal at at time until you become a dragon.
