Sharks, Sea Turtles and Marine Life

Interesting topic !!

I've encountered marine life whilst dreaming on many, many occasions. All sorts of creatures, from Conger eels to giant catfish and Carp, Stingrays over 150feet long(!), killer whales and shoals of luminous rainbow-like fish.

On these "fishy" occasions I've definitely become more lucid, or woken up, in my dreams. I've never thought about it until now, but there seems to be an obvious link.

Having said this, I've never encountered any during (what I class as) an OBE or astral travel, or at least, I can't recall such an encounter.

Ok, here's my theory... If other people are like me, they will recall occasions in their waking life where they have walked along river banks, or swum in the ocean, and spotted fish swimming.

The sensation you get is unique; a mix of awe and joy, and surprise too... I believe it is this sensation, when experienced in a dream/ OBE that "wakes you up". The emotions give you that little boost of lucidity, but not too much, or you would wake up in your bed.

Similar, but different emotions occur when my dreams feature Lions / Tigers.

I have decided to post this question to forum members after tonight reading a post where latina_deva wrote about encountering a Great White Shark during an OBE.  I have read other accounts of members seeing sharks.  I have decided to note Sharks, Sea Turtles and Alligator's as my dream signs due to the frequently I encounter them.  I have no idea why this is so.  Does anyone else note a frequency of Marine Life during OBE and Lucid Dreams? In a previous post I wrote about what could only be considered a guide giving me a fishing rod where I hooked a Great White Shark on his rod, he then told me to let the shark go and proceeded to show me deceased children.  A few weeks ago I again encountered a Great White Shark and became lucid and flew in the sky for about what seemed like five minutes before waking up. During these sea encounters the water and life is as if it is neon and glows in the most vivid and amazing colors.
