Title: Why?
Post by: Bedeekin on August 29, 2012, 06:58:03
Before I came on the internet I often wondered how many people out there were like me... could so these amazing OOBEs. For years I pondered this... I only had a really understocked library when I was growing up while experiencing them night after night.

I used to think... 'wow... if there are people out there, we could get together and we can all visit this cool place that seemed devoid of earthly bonds.'

One of those bonds was religion... another was fear.

I used to be frightened of monsters... pre 11 years of age. After OOBEs entered my life... because I didnt see any demons that wanted to possess me or  real monsters that wanted to impregnate me and burst out of my chest... any fear of that 'unknown' has completely vanished. I am afraid of certain earthly things... like nuclear war.. but that's natural. But I entered this place that seemed to lift the veil so to speak... and...

if there were demons or ghosts or supernatural nastiness, I was in the perfect state to see them and surely be effected by them!!

So Then I came online in my 30s... and I find that I was living in a wishful dream of naivety. There is still dogma... still conflict of belief and so confusion.

It seems the human condition reached over the threshold into the non-physical. Which explained some of the characters I encountered.

So...

This is a question to the 'projectionists' who seem to be wrapped up in the world of a demon infested 'Astral' and need to wrap themselves in white light and love to protect themselves....

Why am I totally unharmed and safe?

... having suffered only benefits... having NEVER experienced any dangerous entities and/or demons... doing basically what I want.. when I want... where I want... without having to call upon any love or light or PROTECTION. I've never been religious.

I still cant understand this...

There are those out there who also... don't see demons or get effected by them... so I know I'm not alone.

You know... there are a lot of things that people talk about when it comes to their experiences that I cant relate to... and it's always those that describe the nonphysical as being 'astral' and having evil and light in it.

Am I missing out?

What exactly am i missing?

Dont get me wrong... I wouldn't want the distractions of having to deal with crap like that in my nonphysical adventures... There is enough 'evil' and 'demons' in the physical world.

So... if I ask these questions... why dont the people who experience demons or are afraid they will encounter them, ask those the same questions or wonder why there are those that do and those that don't?

Greetings Bedeekin.
It's good to see you posting here.
First of all I concur with your assessment that many people Are obsessed with demons and evil creatures (or 'negs' as the current lingo has it). Some people do have a compulsive fear of the astral (and other nonphysical) states. IDK why this is, maybe its a religious thing with many people. Also the fear of the unknown must influence many peoples thinking.
But I should also add that I Have experienced a few negative and hostile encounters while out of body and I am not a religious person in any way. This includes, Yes, an encounter with a dragon!
There follows a section of my Informal OBE Survey detailing all the many creatures, both good, bad and neutral, that people have reportedly encountered during their OBEs (and NDEs). Of course I cannot vouch for these reports other than to add that my intuitive feeling is that Most people were honest in that they Believed they had encountered these beings and were not fabricating or exxagerating their accounts. And it Does make for fascinating reading.

Cool list... the diversity goes some way into pointing out that these things are somewhat illusionary. Brilliant.

I have never seen any non-physical beings, except for people and animals that are physically alive. My findings in this regard are similar to Sylvan Muldoon's.

I was the same when I started. I only ever had what I called 1st phase... later I read Monroe called it Locale I.. RTZ... whatever.

As I would carry on doing what I was doing, what I thought were dreams started to run alongside the experience. It's like my subconscious started to creep through. After a while the RTZ experiences diminished to be replaced by these dreams. But some of the dream locals became as solid and constrained as this one and I realised they must have been other realities... but there was also a messed up version of this world that reminds me now of the online 'game' Second Life. Back then I called it dream reality.

But yeah I only ever saw people and animals that were around at the time.

The nonphysical is absolutely teeming with characters and creatures. Some of them bizarre and so abstract I can't describe them without getting synesthetic and poetic. Some of them are grotesque.

But... none of them have ever harmed me or the effects of anything 'nasty' wouldn't have a lasting effect as say... a rape or murder would effect me.

i have never seen anything fearful, in fact I tried to project something fearful once by thinking about it but I was only able to hear a devilish laugh and that was it.

In my opinion I have been beyond fear since the beginning because i read so much about it and thought about it constantly not in a fearful way but more as in fascinated with the unknown.

its down to attitude and belief

I knew a guy who was a christian and had an NDE and I asked him about it... He said he sat in gods hands and said it wasn't his time yet. So... I decided (Not a good move) to tell him I astral project from time to time and learn to induce sleep paralysis and all of that. He told me that God doesn't want me doing that.  This is exactly why I never talk about it anymore except on here.

I believe you manifest a lot in the astral. If you believe in demons you will manifest one etc. Although... I have to say... I never have run across anything that was after me or wanted to hurt me or something. Ever. Most things have been pleasant. I did see a very tall shadow figure walk across my hallway and look at me. It was pretty scary but I reminded myself... He probably meant no harm at all. I did run into a dog looking thing with red eyes that growled at me. I just walked away and it never bugged me again.

I am not religious in anyway. Just very spiritual. I believe you do manifest things you believe in though. That's why I just think outside the box and go with what I see. I just keep experiencing.
