Why are the vibrations causing severe back pain?

I don't know what caused the pain, but I believe that you hit the door.

Thursday before last I got out, and hit my head on a cabinet. Boy, did that hurt!

:/ I didn't think I'd hit it, either. I thought "well, I'll just float through it."

Maybe you have to concentrate on passing through something?
I need a signature that isn't stupid. :/

I think energy bodies are connected to somewhere around your back bone. Mine hurt when I first loosened it, but it only did that the first few weeks.

It seems to me that when you bumped the door you were testing to see if you could go thru it. Unless you absolutely believe that you can then chances are you won't go thru it.  That may be the reason. Next time don't test the door, just go straight on thru it without another thought. Once you seriously believe you can do it,you will, unless of course you are still in the physical in which case just say "OUCH THAT HURTS"!!!

I do not understand why you could get pain from this.. It boggles me! I only get mental pain from time to time.

Graupel

It sure is boggling me too..

The kind of pain I feel during the vibrational state is that of severe, sharp muscle stabbing kind of pains.  Kind of like someone is pulling my back muscles so hard they are trying to break it in half.  The pain is sometimes severe.

What do you think I can do, and does this probably mean that because my astral body has such a tight hold onto my physical.. it is becoming looosened?

beavis

Graupal, thats what happened to me. Yes it means its getting loose.

jc84corvette

My conclusion is it could be a relaxation problem.

beavis

Mine wasnt related to relaxing. It only happened when I tried to project.

Graupel

Oh no I was relaxed.. actually I was in F10 or F12 with complete paralysis of the physical body but it felt like the physical body was being broken in half, despite it being completely asleep.

there is another person that answered the question to the bumping and I can sort of answer your pain as well.  Til you build up your faith in the astral to go through walls you can try this technique it always seems to work, when you are about to go through walls just walk as you are walking through it make the sound SHHHH not SSS while doing it somehow it seems to work everytime.

as for too much pain in back, I had pains in my head when i did body awareness and listening to hemi sync tapes, when i started getting major pains in head especially during sex i stopped the body awareness and listening to hemi sync tapes til everything goes back to normal.  you must be doing some sort of over stimulation to the back suggest you stop stimulating it if you are doing body awareness for example you can do other things instead ie relaxation and/or awareness stuff.

This might be an ignorant question but, Is there something wrong if you don't feel any physical sensations?  I mean aside from tingling etc, but the one time I think I've projected so far, I just kind of woke up and I was already floating.  The only thing I noticed was how incredibly difficult it was to get back into my body, like moving through molasses.  Oh yeah I didn't bump into anything, I was inside my couch.  It might have been a dream but I hope it was an OBE.  As well I wasn't really 'concious' of my actions, just kind of gut reactions.  anyone?

Be well,
J

To receive input from places nonlocal to your body (from AP, not your phone!), it is not necessary to feel anything physical.

nthjbam-- you were inside your couch? so did you project from one floor down or what? sounds cool lol.

The other night I managed to get in a few extra hours of sleep and initiated vibrations upon going to sleep and inducing a mini-WILD.

The vibrations were of a lower frequency than normal, possibly OOBE-like.  Anyways as soon as they started it felt like my entire back was about to break.. like the muscle was being strained or pulled so hard that it was downright hurting.  And my physical body was not movin at all, and I somehow managed to get outside my body using Robert Bruce's "intense pop-out using skis" technique.

It was almost like I was awake physically, and then I went to touch my nose to the door to see if it would pass through it and it did, in fact, bump into the door.

Two questions:

1.)  What is the cause of this pain associated with the vibrational state, and is there anything one can do to alleviate it?

2.)  If it was indeed an OOBE, why can our etheric or astral body bump into physical objects, feel the pain from it, and be impeded by it?  Is there anything we can do to "phase-shift" through them, perhaps just by the belief that it will happen and then slowly move through the object?
