I have been able to WILD several times. The results when it does occur seem to be a real AP due to the lucidity. I can look in a mirror and talk to astral people. I seem to be able to stay as long as I want before awaking. It might be a Lucid Dream but seems mush more.
Lucid Dreams past quickly woce I become aware and I am unable to keep aware long and quickly wake up.
OBE to the RTZ from either sleep paralysis to me seems like the truest form of OBE. If I had to decide on a true OBE in would be directly to the RTZ from vibrations however I have only done this once as most times I can not exit. A couple times I have exited without knowing. I simply found myself in the living room standing up and knowing I was projecting. Perhaps this was some mind split in progress and the reason I remembered it was I immediately ended it after 1 minute and awoke. One thing I have noticed about the RTZ is I encounter no reality fluctuations that I have read about. Everything appears to be as the physical. A strange thing I did encounter twice in the past was someone looking at me while I awake from paralysis and I now think it have been a projected double.

1) I think I've heard it said that phasing is just a projection of the consciousness... as in a sorta telepathic link with the world around you and a sorta powerful remote viewing or something. Ends up accomplishing practically the same thing as a projection... without the projection.
2) They are teh same thing and people that practice wild don't realize they are stepping into the astral
3) They are the same thing and people that phase are actually just dreaming and not actually entering the astral.
I think, all the three options have a possibility, they don't exclude each other. We're supposed to be multidimensional beings, meaning that our parts are all along the consciousness axis. We can transfer our personality into any of these parts, if we're able to succesfully isolate the feelings originated from that part of our being, and with enough intensity an stability of course, to overwrite the feelings of the consciousness of the sumberling physical body.

Okay now, I have a question for you all. For the most part, the difference between dreams and ap seem pretty clear. Dreams take place in the mind, or at least around the double that stays behind (i.e., either you imagine it all, or you have a little dream right where you are affecting the astral around you), and astral take place... away from the body, around the second double, couresty of the body's natural mindsplit. And supposedly (I haven't gotten this far yet to know), this means you can have dreams and a ap at the same time.
But then I look into Astral "Phasing" and the Hypagogic Imagry technique for WILD (wake induced lucid dream), and they are IDENTICAL in process. Basically, let some imagery form, then step into it when it's solid enough. So what's the difference between the two?

Here's hoping someone knows : )
It can't be as simple as dreams and ap are the same because there's two of you, and that's been confirmed. Unless you somehow the body that stays behind doesn't actually dream and it's the double that dreams, and somehow you can remember your dreams better that way. Except that you can have dreams and ap memories in the same "time slots". So that idea is out.
I'm confused [:(]
