So far I've only listened to the first wave from TMI, but I can't help but think Im not seeing the results I should, that either I'm achieving these focus states fairly easily at this point, or that I'm not. I for the first time did intro to focus 12 yesterday and found a nice experience with small differences between what I perceive as focus 10. Typically in focus 10 my body feels numb, I keep my mind off it, I see swirls of colors which turn into very defined patterns. When I was supposed to go into focus 12 I felt the blackness grow in terms of darker color and more depth, not an infinite depth, but it was to the point where I could see an area "infront" of my eyes. I also notice I more easily lose my focus at this point, sometimes having meaningless side conversations within myself, basically a dream without visuals.

Now the main thing I'm wondering is am I getting into focus 10, and 12? Now I ask this because I still have not successfully done track 5 from wave one, where you're supposed to turn like a log and float upwards. I've not managed to achieve this, though I may be taking it too literally. Should I continue practicing this track or should I move to practicing wave 2, with focus 12 and these things?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not well versed with the TMI tracks but it sounds like you are indeed getting to F10 and F12. F10 is basically just relaxing your body and looking inward. F12 is when your body perception begins to fade and you begin to see forms or the "black screen" like you describe. F15 is the void, 3D blackness, or jumping off point for OBE experiences. It sounds like you might be getting bogged down with the terms, though. F10 and F12 are just reference markers of a deepening trance, not clearly defined states. If you concentrate on improving your focus technique and getting a feel for the trance state in general you won't need to worry about tracks, levels or instructions.

How long have you been practicing?

Keep playing around with those TMI tracks for at least a month or two.. just keep practicing them each day.
Don't start analyzing your results yet.  Wait until later to do so.  :)

Also, note that how Robert guides you throughout the tracks... you might shift between Focuses before, during or after when he queues you to.  It's a rough guide only.  You could potentially shift into 12 before he's even done with 10.  It's entirely individual.

But as I said, don't over-analyze things at this point... remove your analytical mind from this for the time being.  It *will* hold you back.  Just keep practicing.  :)

I started listening to the track around mid or late July. I listened to them frequently for the first couple weeks, then more infrequently for the next couple, and now much more frequently, 2 or 3 times a day/night. But I was just trying to figure out if I should start listening to wave 2 and 3 yet.

Sure.  There's no harm in going ahead when you've put that much work so far into a single track.
Just be wary that you might have to go between all of them, and work each track again several times to get the jist of them.

But yeah, that's fine.  Just try not to bring your intellect too much into this... just experience and don't really worry too much about WHAT you're experiencing, even if you perceive or believe you're experiencing nothing.  Cause you probably are.  :)
