Meeting those who have passed on

Although I am still at the stage where I feel lucky just having an obe, and have yet to experience any conscious astral travel, I have been wondering if it is possible to connect with someone who has crossed over? And if anyone here has had such an experience? I lost someone I was very closed to less than 2 years ago, who I would dearly love to meet up with on an astral level. Is it possible?

I met my grandfather once. He's been gone 15 years. He and my grandmother where living in a nice house somewhere "out there". When I asked my grandmother what she had been doing she said that she was helping my aunt who is in Baltimore. My aunt has been having a hard time getting a job and stuff. They watch from above and help guide us.

He also spoke of his father, my great-grandfather who was in the room sitting in a chair. But I couldn't see him for some reason. My grandfather passed along that he was very glad to finally meet me. I only knew him from pictures.

I didn't stay long but I could see out the windows and it looked like a really nice place. Sorta like a complex of houses. Everything was green and bright and beautiful.

I believe it is, and have had the experience at least three times.  Two years may be a good time to start trying, it was two years later when I first saw my dad besides the usual grief-loss- dreams you have at first.

It's a target I have so far postponed again and again. I'd love to meet one of my grandparents, I remember my grandmas but never lived to see my grandpas. I guess it might still be too difficult for me to achieve, but who knows, a lucky shot maybe?

 My first mentor or guide I should say was my deceased brother in-law. He was always someone I looked up to while he was alive. A true gentleman and historical genius.

You'd be surprised.  Put it out to the universe (or in to your subconscious or guides) and see what happens.

That would be amazing. Almost as profound as meeting a spirit guide. As of yet, I haven't even made it outside the house during an OBE, but I am making progress, in that my experiences are getting more and more frequent. It must have been wonderful seeing your dad again.

I can understand.  I would also love to see my own grandmother as well, I was with her when she passed on 7 years ago. Actually, I was with my boyfriend when he died as well. It would mean so much to me to know they are happy, and at peace.

Oddly enough, I have had very few dreams of him. But I like to believe he would contact me if possible. He was not only my boyfriend, but also my best friend. We were extremely close for many years.

Yes they could be anyone. It was incredible and I was honored by it. I couldn't have picked a better choice myself, although I know that it was my own personal interface that caused it to happen.

Astral projection is such an amazing phenomenon. I once never would have believed, that I could learn how to induce an OBE, which is incredible in itself. But to experience something like that would be awesome.
