It doesn't sound like you're projecting at all, but still at the pre-separation phase, when you're using your imagination to help trigger the OBE separation stage.

also, how close am i to projecting when i get the vibrations. thanks.

If you get the vibrations that are often linked to OBE's (and not just some physical body tremors or twitches), then you are very close.  All you would have to do is allow the vibes to overcome you and roll out of your body.

i know that im in the preprojection stage when i imagine the rope. what i really meant was if i continue imagining climbing the rope during the vibrations, then when i did separate would my astral body be climbing an imaginary rope since u can imagine objects in the astral. i am suppose to keep imagining the rope during the vibrations, correct? thanks for the response.

hey,

Yes, you are supposed to keep climbing the rope, I think the point of the climbing is to help pressure your body to "climp out". I like to think of it this way, imagine that you are climbing a rope like in a gym class, reaching that bell is your projection, have your fun at the top (projecting) then slide down. You dont need to keep climbing once you are out. Hope this was inciteful.
