Sexual temptations while projecting

Hey guys

Once in a while, during projections, i encounter somekind of a sexual temptations/seduction. It is usually shaped as a character of a hot woman (or sometimes women).

Unfortunately, Most of the time I find myself tempted. This ends (almost immediately) my projection - Probably do to an interference from my physical body

It feels like I'm being tested.

For example, one time I projected somewhere and found a women, sitting and waiting. She noticed i was there and told me she was expecting me. She was really hot and tempting. Frankly, I was tempted but managed to rise above it and restrain myself. I sat down and tried to talk to her in a polite manner. I was really proud of myself for being able to resist her charm and asked her what is this encounter about - She pointed behind me and introduced me to 3 of her beautiful girl friends....

I will leave the rest of the story for your imagination but it ends with me waking up.

The assumption that this is only a "wet dream" is inevitable but i must clarify that i know the the difference between a dream and a projection in a different plane.

Everytime this happens i feel really embarrassed and angry at myself for being "immature" or something like that. These temptations ruined so many of my projections and i would appreciate tips on what to do in such cases.

Thanks for reading!

It's quite normal to see these kinds of things when you're dreaming or projecting.
If you want to continue with the projection, then it's best to try and ignore whatever it is that's happening.

The problem here is that when you get sexually aroused, even in your sleep, your physical body responds accordingly.
This brings your awareness to the physical, when what you want to do is the exact opposite.

So... the trick (and it's easier said than done) is to keep a tight control on your thoughts and emotions, because in the end, it is those two things that are causing you to see what you're seeing.

Well, I'd advise you to satisfy yourself thoroughly before attempting a projection. You will lose interest in such things and projection will be smooth.

I will leave it to you to decide the actual method to use, either get a real (physical) girlfriend, use porn or imagination etc etc.

In my experience too much control of instinctive desires (like food, sex or sleep etc) leads to suppression/repression of them and they pop up with 100x strength at the wrong time (e.g. when you are oob). Keeping a moderate lifestyle helps, these desires will naturally lessen with age and after 40, you will not find them so distracting.

Oh, and just for the record - I do have a girl friend  :-D

For the most part no one can see or hear me when I'm obe. There has been a few exceptions but they were people who were once alive but no longer. The only time I have these kinds of temptations or encounters with women are when it's a lucid dream and they are characters spawned from my subconscious and imagination. Other than that all I can say is learn self control.

Another approach to this could be to use a delay tactic instead of attempting complete suppression. The next time you find yourself in a scenario such as the one you described, say to yourself that you can come back to this scenario, but only after completing x and y (any other tasks).  This should have the effect of immediately diverting your attention away from erotic stimulation and give added incentive to complete those other ultimately more productive tasks and maybe even extend the projection time. If then after completing your other tasks the projection is terminated by a sexual encounter it's no big deal.

Thanks nickspry!

That is a clever idea - I'll try to do so next time such a scenario happens.

I've found this general approach to work best for me also. My first thought when I read about your dillemma is to decide ahead of time that when ever this happens be ready to pull a Neo and fly straight up.....and into a cool place that you've already chosen where no girls are allowed, heh, heh.

Once you've succeeded at this a few times it will probably give you a greater sense that you have options besides simply "resisting" something--which can cause a sense of struggle and is disruptive while in subjective states of consciousness. Eventually I think that if you are more comfortable because you know that you have choices it won't be so difficult to face the temptresses.
The journey upwards is worth the inconvenience.

An author name John Magnus, who wrote a one hit wonder AP book called "Astral Projection and the nature of reality" spent a lot of time dealing with sexual urges and projection.  It was a big problem for him.  There is some good advice in his book.  I recommend it.

Oh I have the same thing too! Nah it's normal don't be embarrassed. Maybe you're like sexually fustrated or something. Perhaps you need to 'let one off' during your waking hours...because for me, when I do that I tend not to have those sorts of dreams. But if I let it build up for a few days, I find it all comes out in a dream, so to speak.

Happy dreams!

Hey personal reality I have that book at home. It's a pretty good book, when I first read it I laughed because some of the conclusions I came up with because of my ap experiences he touched upon in it. Some people think I'm crazy for some of the ideas and theories I have yet there in the book he says the same things as I do so it was a nice read plus reassuring to see someone else who says the very same things.

personalreality

it was my first ap book.

it's still one of my favorites.

i think i like him because he's like a rebel AP author.  he's like on the outskirts of the AP biz.  he just popped in, wrote his book and then took off, never to be heard from again.

he's mysterious.
be awesome.
