Title: Would this method work?
Post by: Termination on July 22, 2011, 14:59:17
So I'm really hopeless. I have absolutely no progress. I thought about a method that might work, so tell me what you think.
I thought about listening to moderately loud music while on bed. I still fall asleep even with music playing, but then I wake up after some time. Can I keep on doing this until I kind of know I'm waking up and try not to move and all that other stuff?

If you want to listen to something that really improves your chances of having an OBE, try Binaural Beats. There are a number of sites that you can find free samples. Just Google "Binaural Beats". Hopefully this will help you!

Sounds worth a try.

Only pitfall I can think of would be that the music would be too distracting when you wake up and stop you reaching the necessary brainwave state.

I think that is a genius idea. Really i mean it. I rarely compliment.

That when you wake up you will remember after hearing that music to not move and keep your eyes close to astral project.

I think it'd be just an added distraction. There's nothing the music could do that you can't do yourself. Just learn to remind yourself upon awakening to use an AP technique.

Try it, see if it works. There's plenty of people on the pulse who have a method of their own, or even share a method. If you'd like i can tell you mine and see if that helps you.

Well, okay. If it doesn't involve experience in meditation then I would like to hear about your method.

If you can visualize even a little you might try this.

You couldnt rely on it for a regular method but it might be enough to get you started.

Lol, lay in bed. on the IN breath, breathe in relaxation, feel it spread throughout your body. On the OUT breathe, breath out all the stress and tension. If there's a specific body part that can't relax, use your third eye and tell it to relax. Simple isnt' it? I do that, and i project around 15-25 Min. As for meditation, i do a wide range of them. I do the Purple flame, Merkaba, or even just sit in the Dragon pose for 30 min.
