How did u prepare for the exit? Did u do enough relaxation (~40mins), induce trance state and loosen the Projected double? Only afterwards can you apply thought pressure! If u still can't make it, try using some variations of rope technique (one-handed, water-ski, etc). There are also other methods: Big-wheel, ladder, point-shift, etc. See which suits you most. A good excercise to increase the effektiveness of those methods is washinghands and steamengine excercises. Good luck :-)

ummmmmm thats it, everyone is saying this is a good method try it or this is a good one, but no one ever tells me the actual method so im all confused when i try it

there are tons of AP techniques in this site, it's seriously like an astral projection encyclopedia. the catch is that you have to look around for them. there are alot of topics on the mind awake/body asleep, or brim's triangle method. those two are just little examples... there are way more in this site. my sugestion is to just do a little research if u want details.  good luck![|)]

Okay, lets see if I can clarify a few exiting techniques that you might have seen.
(NOTE: I have NOT projected yet. What you see below is based on what I have read and/or what I tried.)
Point Shift: When an exit sensation kicks in, see yourself standing in a spot (anywhere) without breaking concentration. This will lead to rising up out of the body, or "teleporting" to that spot. (THis is a bit hard unless you can visualize well)
Float Out: You know that feeling you get when your in a pool? Recreate that sensation, and feel yourself floating slowly away from your body, usually in an upward motion.
Roll Out: When a exiting sensation kicks in, think of yourself/see yourself rolling over on your bed/where ever you are practicing. If it dont work the first time, keep up the "visualization" until you exit.

Those seem to be the easiest ones to preform, plus there the only ones I understand. =P Keep trying man, I know youre gonna get out!

There is also the "sink through the floor" also known as let gravity work.

The "magnet" where you image a force pulling you out towards it.

Asking your spirit guide to help you out(requires a cognizant realtionship).

Asking another OOBE'r to help you out(very difficult to time correctly, and not have a defensive reaction when they approach astrally).

There are many many ways to conceptualize the exit.  It's a matter of what works best for you.  If you can visualize well, then go with a visual method.  If you "feel" things better, then go with one of those.  If nothing works, try the gravity dropout, it's like a sensation of falling, whcih everyone has actualy experienced (elevators or a car going over a hilltop, thet butterfly sensation in your stomache).

Just work on getting to the vibration/paralysis stage, since that's pretty much common to all techniques.  After that, keep play with exit techniques until you find one that works.

I have tried as many as 5 different techniques in one session.  If one doesn't seem to be working, then I try anotehr.  It's amazign that after 10 minutes of trying one way, another seems almost easy by comparison [:)]
There is a physical limitation upon how much light a human body can sustain. Interestingly, there is no limit on how much light a human vessel can generate. When fully enlightened you must instill your light in order to maintain its wisdom.

well, i know that everyone has thier own sensations, but i wanna check just incase.
i can get my body to get 100% numb, i cant still get out of it when ever i want so i dont know if it is paralizeation. i also dont get any vibrations which i thought was wierd since i was in a trance, is it just cause my charaks dont open fully yet, or because i wont ever feel them

So how do you know if your chakras are open?  If one stays closed you won't get all the way out.  For me I open from the bottom to top, usually 2 breaths per chakra (more if it sticks a little).  Focusing on my heart Chakra always causes an involuntay deep breath, and the next one cause a choking sensation (which are my signs that it'm on track).  When I open 3rd Eye there is always a surging, and usually I need a few moments to stabalize.  Crown is a special case, either it snaps open for me, or I coax it open (depends on energy levels).

Being paralysed during an AP is a unique feeling that you know for sure if u have it or not.
Reaching an AP is not that simple, and it needs a lot of time and efford! Practice more with it and some day, you'll make it :-)

RB describes fully how to do an AP. Read his book! Good luck:-)

well, i need some easy exit techniques, besides the rope one, i cant get that one to work any help?
