Vibes/getting out/ etc.

I have been trying to project for around two months now.
The first time I tried, I had imediate relsults, but not as far as getting out of body. I laid face down on my stomach. I just relaxed and felt tingling in my arms, it eventually spread to all area of my arms and legs. I then began to feel the vibrations. When they first came, I noticed blue ligting bolt looking things forming in the darkness behind my eyelids and the vibes intensified. I began breathing heavily and felt like I was hovering about 1/2 a foot above my body back and forth. I didn't have much knowledge of OBE's at the time, and I expected the vibes to be like masturbating ( im sorry... excuse me) I thought they would end with a sudden burst and I would be out. I had no idea I had to keep them going util I was spilt.

Since then, I have gotten nowhere. All can do is relax, make my hands and feet tingle. I stay like that for a long time and then get anxious, tired, and angry and end up quitting. How do I get the vibes to come back? How do I make them intensify when I do get them back? How will I know when I am ready to leave my body?

Oh yeah, everytime I try (even the successful first time) I feel like I am wide awake, but with closed eyes. Is that normal? Even when I had those strong vibes, I felt wide awake, like I could open my eye and get up anytime.

Please help me... I want to get out sooo badly, I can't stand it!! Everwhere I look I cannot find how to get the vibes back. Please help! Thank you.

Synergy

I find that an easy way to become aware of the vibes, is to get in your totally relaxed state, and then imagine you are laying on your back, floating on the ocean.  I kind of concentrate on a specific point in my head (third eye) and bring the vibrations outward from there.  The feeling is quite similiar to being on your back floating on water head first over the waves, so if you can imagine that and visualize it and make yourself feel it, then you will have *hopefully* started feeling the vibrations.  It always works for me....

I find that the wake up, and go back to sleep technique works really good.  It always has for me.  In fact the very first time I experienced the vibrations, and 'vibes' was when I was in high school, over 10 years ago now.  I stayed the night at a friends.  We had a late night, I only got about 2 hours of sleep.  My friend had to work early, so we both only got about 2 hours of sleep.  I ended up running/walking home, it was about 45 minute run/walk.  I got home, and was naturally tired since I was up all night.  Since I ran/walk my physical self was very much awake, but my mind was exhausted.  This put me into that state almost immediately.  There were several other times where I did the same thing staying up late, and running home, and getting the vibrations.  I recommend something like this. 

However, now days, I can almost will myself into it.  Kinda like turning the channel on a TV. 

My advice is to continue, and  basicaly just to be patient.
