Wow, very informative. Heh, you werent kidding about lengthy [:P].

"Can everyone have a "conscious" OOBE? Probably not.
Can you? Perhaps."

This statement right from the begining might place some doubt in readers minds, in my opinion. I think absolutely everyone has the ability to project, but not everyone is willing to put in the effort to do so.

After that it goes on saying about how you (the reader) was drawn to this 'phenomenon' of OBEs. I believe there are no coincidences, and that everything happens for a reason. I believe that everyone here  (The Astral Pulse), was drawn to astral projection by some higher force, like our higher selves. I feel that it was meant to be for me (and everyone else here, as well as anyone on any OBE forum/website/etc.) to discover this and succeed.
Just my little bit of info, thanks for the article Kodemaster!
Take care!

Hi Kodemaster,

Thanks for that link. [8D]  It looks good. I've just skimmed it for now, however I've printed it out for reading later on. The author, Charles C. Goodin, writes that he is preparing a book on Astral Projection as well. Hopefully it will be a good one!

Very best,
Nick

Hi Kodemaster,

I just finished reading the obe information and found it quite good. At least for a little bit, I'd like to make this topic a "sticky" so that others can print out the article for future reference.

Thanks again for finding such a good article on obe! [^]

Very best,
Nick

Great read for newbies.  The strange experiences associated with OBE can be unnerving to say the least.  It does well in covering most of these experiences so thay aren't so surprising when you encounter them along the way.

I found this read to be amazing. It helpsed me identify some things that my body has gone through that I did not understand before, or did not think were linked to OOBEs.

I have never had a concious OOBE, but I am just starting to workon it... I am a newbie [:I] so be gentle! lol

Hi guys,

I discovered this one the web a long time ago. I've been meaning and meaning to post it, only to not be able to locate it until now:

http://www.sanraal.nl/magic/psi-ast2.htm

It answers a lot of questions people have been asking for years.

Enjoy!

From the text:
2. Projectors Are Drawn To It. Like moths to flame, many of us are
drawn to OOBEs. We can't really help it. It's not that OOBEs are cool, neat,
fantastic, or the "in" thing to do -- at a deep level something tugs at us.
Remember that time, long ago when you were a child and found yourself "out"?
You can't forget it, can you? The memory and feeling is always right
there... tugging at you.

Exactly :).

What do you mean?

All that you can read *is* the thread.

Do you mean the links?

EDIT:  Ah, the link, which Kodemaster posted above (which is actually the first post in the thread) doesn't work anymore.
I'm just gonna lock this up so nobody else gets confused.  :)
