I don't think you'll find that kind of "generic" ritual, for the principle of it is to refer to some specific deity in a closed system (religion, cult etc). It would be like wanting the recipe of a cake but without the cake The only thing you can do, i think, is to create your own prayer with what you believe.
Tell me however if you find this generic prayers etc, but as i said i really don't think they exist out of any system.

um, don't baptise your baby. there's no point to it since, in christianity, baptism is an individual's action to express his decision to live his life for God. and babies can't make that decision []

as for prayer, prayer is supposed to be talking to God, but unfortunately most people just use it to speak at God (they might as well be talking to a wall for all they care :/ ). although, that's not to say that God doesn't listen or doesn't hear, but if someone were just talking kindof at you (not really directly to you, but at you. since, you're in the room "anyway" and they want to say it cause they know you can hear them) how would you feel?

hi, I'm not Christian, but I was curious about prayers and baptisim. I read that there is baptisim from many religions. and prayer... does anyone know any that are kinda like... generic ?

same with baptisim. i soon will have my first born child. baptisim sounds interesting too me, but i kinda feel that it's like a inituation into a religion that i do not believe.

does anyone know of any "generic" rituals and prayers that are not specific too any religion ? I don't want too refer too any angels or saints and stuff. it's just not what I believe.
