Thanx van for replying. She and I remained friends for about 5 months after that and it never happened again,but I truely never felt at ease with her again.So I went my own way knowing that she was not good for me.Notice in my post I said she appeared to not that she did....that is how it seemed to me.2 weeks before this happened I had became a born again christain. Dont know if that makes any difference about what happened.But van you have given me something to think about thanx.

Well, if she only apperead to then you could have just been seeing something through your minds eye.  I would also feel a little bit uneasy around her, but if she didn't do it again then it was probably a demon tried to posses her and stopped when it saw your light.  You should become a preistess, if she said it was that bright that she couldn't see you then you would have some serious holy power that you could use in exorsisms, though keep in mind that some demons aren't really evil, though most can be.

I say seemed to appear,lol, who knows.I do know it was wild.This demon was diff. evil.I could feel it.The air just took on a whole new feel about it.About 2 weeks after this she told me that when she was younger, her mother and aunt would mess around by any means they could, to try to see and talk with the  dead.Her and her cousin would hide and watch and listen.I always wondered if it was possible that maybe they let something in that attached itself to her.And I always wondered why it showed itself to me.

Quite possibly, dabuling in that sort of stuff can invite anything into your house and even body, it could have been then or maybe even farther down in her life, but it is probably gone for good.  The way you describe the air taking on a different feel, do you mean like it turned stale and it was kind of hard to breath.  If so then what you felt was called youki, the demons energy tainting the air around you.  This is amazing since I have never heard of an account like this, sorry if I seem introuding on personal matters, just say the word and I won't ask anymore questions.

lol no ask away.If I didnt want to talk about it I would have never posted it.The air became so charged with electricty that it made a crackling sound.I could even feel the air move from being so charged, if that makes any since.After it was over I remember thinking back on it and trying to remember if I had actually saw sparks or something.But I hadnt.Its been so long ago I dont remember if the air became "stale".It did become heavy and thick.I dont know if thats what you would call stale or not.And yes it was hard to breath,but not in a way that I felt like I was drowning.

Yes that is what I was talking about, I couldn't think of anything else besides stale.  It might have had control over electricty and that is the reason why you 'saw' the air become charged, still it became hard for you to breath and that is exactly what happens in japanesse legends of demons and even what Rumiko Takahashi has done in her tale of Inuyasha.  Well, I don't have to much more to share so thanks for sharing this story with us.

yes I was overly calm at the time.I have always been one to be in control and calm during very stressful situations.Its not until afterwards that it hits me!!But I have always thought my being as calm as I was had something to do with my not being alone(the white light),altho I,myself did not see the light I did feel as if I was not alone facing this.Even tho I was not afraid at the time its not something I would want to go thru again.When you tap into the spiritual side of yourself be prepared for both the light and dark of the spiritual realm.If you are a spirit of the light then you should not fear the dark.

I will take a part of your answer here. First of all I wanna say that each human has a part of demon in hisself. In the bible it is written that Adam & Ave slept with demons. the first time it happened was when Ave slept with Samel (the devil) that was in form of a snack that was a demon (they are not all evil) and then Kin was born and he got half human half demon. Anyways there were many demons in the Chaos and the birth of earth in the 6 days, God fought the evil ones and left some on earth, Adam & Ave were sent to earth to work hard as a punishment they were sent from the Eden (heaven), They slept with all kinds of demons but the actual form of their children was a form of a human, so by the Bible we can know that each of us has a gen of a demon inside of us and no matter if it's a good or bad part, we are all humans after all (or demons) right?
Anyways absolutesunrise your friend could have a strong part of demon or maybe the part of the demon could control her very well because of some thinkings.
It's pretty wierd I have not a big idea about it but I wanted to say just that demons are parts of us but they just watch us from other dimentions, the evil ones try to control us, and one more thing is that by the jewish mythology the bad demons are sent by Satan to try to make us fail in the unreal life so there will be a real chalenge of bad Vs Evil before arriving to the real world (Eden) So just the purest spirits will get to the secrets of the Eden. I have never been into any kind of magic at all.The only change I had made in my life at that time was I had just became a born again christain.I studied and meditated on Gods Word,prayed for understanding of His Word and spiritual awareness.Since that time I have had many things happen to me dealing with both the light and dark side of the spiritual realm,but nothing compared to this.I have read many books on the subject and have not had any answers yet.While I was still in the church I went to my pastor and he told me to stay away from her(no prob.,done deal)and to not talk about it(which I thought was strange).I just happened across this site a few days ago and this is my first posting.I thought maybe someone here would have experienced for themselves or at least heard of something like this happening.I would be grateful for any serious input or ideas anyone might have.Thanx...abs

since your very religious, I suggest praying for your friend every once in a while
what I find interesting is that whatever posessed your friend wanted you hurt or dead and how much spiritual power you seem to have.  Connection? I don't know but it's something to think about.  Either that or the whatever it was wanted to cause your friend pain and maybe feed off of that.  Or it could've had another motive altogether.

Back in 1985 a very disturbing thing happened to me and I have been looking for an answer ever since.So if anyone could throw me some ideas about what happened I would be truely grateful.
  I was at a girlfriends house  and we were talking about everyday stuff,our children,our husbands,recipes etc...We were sitting at her kitchen table.She got up to get some matches to light a candle she had on the table,the whole while she is talking and I am not looking at her.I noticed she had stopped talking in mid sentence and I looked up at her.She had stopped in the middle of the room,matches in hand and was staring at me with a blank look on her face.I remember thinking,"how strange",but I said nothing.I saw her start to change,transform,whatever it may be, right before my very eyes.She appeared to grow taller,much,much taller, about 10-12 ft.Her face became longer and thinner and her eyebrows became very arched.Her eyes became black.As all this is going on I noticed a crackling in the air,like being beside an electrial transformer that is running full blast and about to blow.Strange feeling.I,myself felt really calm and was not one bit afraid(that is until it was all over,lol).No sound what so ever came from her.I "KNEW" if I could get her to sit down and back to my(level)whatever it was would go away.I said her name and told her to sit down and on the third time she did just that.Whatever it was was gone and she even picked up the sentence were she left off like nothing had happened.I let her talk without saying anything about what just happened.Then at the same time we both said(and this is like 15 mins later)What in the world just happened.Well I knew what I felt and saw so I demanded to know what went on with her.This is what she told me.I wanted to hurt you real,real bad and all I could see was this bright light around you,I could not see you for the light.The light was brighter than anything I have ever saw and it hurt my eyes.And that was it.
   Needless to say it wasnt long after that that we parted ways.I have not seen her since.Sorry this was so long.If anyone knows or has any ideas please post. Thanx
