Ghost in my house.

As I've said in another thread or two, I have a ghost in my house. It's not a bad ghost, more neutral or so. Anyway, it's been here a few years, and I don't mind it's presence. But, lately, I've noticed that it really would like to talk to me.

A few weeks ago, it entered my room while I was falling asleep. Of course, this woke me up again, I watched it move about the room ( I could not actually see it, but I could follow where it supposedly was with my eyes, based on my feelings ). It moved over my stomach and the bed to my left, like it wanted to sleep beside me or something. I told it I was scared, and would like it to leave, if it did not mind. I heard someone clap their hands together, and the atmosphere normal, ghost gone.

About a week ago, the ghost entered my room. It moved about, when I felt it get very close to me, then I hear three thumps on my right ear. Like it's wanting to tell me something, and I ask it to leave again.

---

Last night, I was trying to go to sleep, when the atmosphere of the room changes. This time, though, it's not the neutral ghost I've always known. It's something pretty bad, so I ask it to leave.  It leaves for a while. As I'm trying to sleep, I start getting these "blasts" of feelings coming from the ghost. It's something I've never experienced before. Everytime it moved, I would feel this very intense amount of energy coming from it, lasting about one second, and making me completely "detached" from the physical world. I endured this for about an hour, until it left.

---

Today, a few minutes ago actually, I was sitting here, talking on MSN. When I feel the ghost enter my room, it feels more like the bad ghost, but not as bad as last night. I start getting these "blasts" again, but not as intense as last night. I feel it coming toward me pretty fast, so I get up and leave the room.

Is this the same ghost? I've never experienced this before. It's very frightening, it's very very intense, I've never sensed ghosts like this before. It is usually a subtle feeling, but now it's so strong, that when I get these "blasts" I can't even think straight.

Maybe it's mad at me for not talking to it?

So why don't you?

I get the idea this ghost knows that you're aware its there, it's trying to communicate with you but getting frustrated because you're not sure how.

That's ok. Quite common actually. Often ghosts will appear to do bad things simply because they're either frustrated or confused. Don't feel frightened or threatened by it. Despite the fact it's a discarnate spirit, it's still a person, and still thinks and feels like a person. Try talking to it just as if you were speaking normally to another person. Even though you can't hear it, it can hear you.

Let it know that you are aware of its presence, and be honest with it - explain that you're not trying to ignore it, it's just you don't know how to communicate with it properly, but you would like to be able to (I'm assuming here you would like to be able to communicate with it, at least find out what it wants).
If it want's to communicate with you, be aware that it might do some odd things, move things or arrange things in a particular way. Because it can't speak to you, or write things down, it may try to do things in such a way as to get a message accross in more symbolic ways like drawing your attention to particular objects. Keep an eye out for this, and ask it questions. It might be able to move one particular object, in which case see if you can ask it yes/no questions, and see if it responds by the way it moves the object.

If you feel like it's crossing personal boundaries, tell it. Let it know if its doing something that you don't like. Again, just the same as any other person that would come into your house. We (my wife and I) frequently have ghosts coming into the house, and we have boundaries that we set with them - no spooking the birds (we've two pet Cockatiels), and no coming into our bedroom as that's our private space. They respect that and we have no problems with them. Because both my wife and I are mediums we occasionally get to find out what they want. Other times it's simply a case of they're drawn to our energies as any medium or person working with spiritual healing tends to become like a beacon to spirits.

Hope that helps.
James.

Thanks James, that's very helpful. I think I'll try to talk to him/her next time I feel the presence.

By the way, James, or anyone else that would like to, can you tell me what those blasts of energy were?

My only guess here is you can feel this kind of thing when a ghost passes through you.

Ok, thanks James. That ghost must really want to contact me. :-o

And thanks Skippy, I appreciate it! :)

A bit ago, the ghost came into my room while I was sleeping again. It woke me up ( I woke up somehow, anyway. ), and I set my boundaries for it. I then told it, that if it wanted to talk to me, anytime outside of these boundaries, it could. But, that I did not know how, we'd have to find a way.

I then told it, if it was lost, or scared, that it could go towards the light. That someone was waiting for it there. Not to be afraid, that the light was the way to heaven.

One of my friends suggested I do this. She said, that usually ghosts come to her because they are lost and confused. And that she tells them that.

This was about a week and a few days ago, and I haven't felt it since.

Good for you, Goober!  :-) If the ghost was lost, then you probably helped it!
