I dont believe that the cpu of a computer could do anything harmful to you. I have over three computers in my house all running at different speeds. If i walk by them I can feel them resonate at their respective speeds. The parts to a computer that could be harmful is that the powersupply and hard drive. They create (depending how old it is) enough noise to disturb one's meditation.

sorry, i meant computer, cpu is just sort, I was tired when I posted that, wanted to goto bed.  I have heard that there are harmful affects of the vibration that comes off of a computer... thats all I know.

Hmmm actually I do recall hearing about how computers, electronics and even cell towers produce a negative energy. I don't know much about it but you may want to look up "orgonite" in google. "orgonite" is supposed to filter/change the bad energy. You might also want to look up "Q-link" (not sure of the spelling) here because I'm pretty sure it was atleast similar to "orgonite" if not the same thing.

I think the main problem with computers were with the CRT monitors...  They are "leaking" some "radiations"?  LCDs should be safe.

Avoid power-lines.

And, for the cellphones, they still don't know what's going on.  But they definitly witnessed some effects on brain cells and hormonal system I think.

Computer screens do emit radiation.  Lots of it is in the visible spectrum but other spectrums are alleged to be radiated however such speculations are often quashed by loud voices from very rich computer companies that there's no way the radiation from monitors can possibly harm humans.  Its the same as a TV.

If you're overly concerned get a flat screen, LCD style or one of the new plasma varieties (although I'm not entirely sure how they work).  Normal screens use a cathode ray tube which fires electrons at a grid of chemicals that glow when the electrons hit them (put simply).  If any of those were coming out of the screen you'd soon know, there'd be sparks flying at your face.

Most of the electronics inside a computer operates below 6 volts and is very low powered.  The main power source in a computer operates at the same voltage of the power grid, so theres no difference between the electromagnetic radiation between your computer and any other mains powered device.

It could be that what you've heard is simply some kind of anti-technology propaganda, because I don't believe I've ever felt 'evil' vibrations from a computer, or any other electronic device I've come across.

Whoa!!!   Thanks Manuel, I was actually thinking about this post today for the first time in months.  Hows that for synchronicity???  I haven't gotten a chance to look at the site yet cuz I have been researching intensly on real health via actually eating right(goto www.thedoctorwithin.com or http://www.fredericpatenaude.com).  I have realized that this is what I was waiting for to manifest abundance in the $ realm, I fould out that Im gonna get a job today and this will be supported by my dad helping me with funds for one of these diets to heal the allergies that I have been taking shots for(tolerance to toxins).  And now this device which sound like it is useful in many ways, not just 'puters.  []

I've read that, if practiced regularly, Tachyon Reiki can cause you to actually absorb the harmful radiation into your energy system, like a big antenna. Apparently it also helps you get more energy out of water? Are you sure that you worded that correctly?
Tachyon energy/Reiki provides protection from harmful radiation. I have never heard of such a negative effect as what you described.

It's not just 60Hz, as the same can be said for the 50Hz power that we use here in Oz. Of more concern though are the higher frequency emissions that come from most modern electronic devices.

Computers, monitors, TVs, VCR's, stereos, etc. all use a what's called switch-mode power supplies. Instead of using a big fat transformer to step 50 or 60Hz mains voltage down to the low voltages used by electronic circuits as was commonly used 20 years ago, switch mode supplys use a much smaller transformer by first stepping up the frequency of mains voltage to between 25kHz and 250kHz.

All of the EM radiation we get from electronics, especially things that use more power like bigger computers, monitors & TVs, is unnatural to our bodies, and if possible should be shielded against if you are becoming more sensitive to energies through meditation, practicing NEW, etc.

One of the simplest, and more effective things that can be used for individual bits of electronic gear is the crystal Flourite. You can often buy Flourite in little flat pieces which can be stuck to the front of the thing you want to be shielded from. Flourite is much better than quartz, even quartz clusters for this because of its natural ability to shield from and dispell negative energy. Quartz clustrs tend to absorb this energy, and will have the nasty effect of transferring it to you as soon as you touch it.

If you have a room full of electronic gear, either get hold of a Flourite sphere, or for a cheaper crystal, use an Obsidian sphere, in particular, green or blue-green Obsidian. Green Obsidian can be sold as just green glass, but providing it is actually natural volcanic glass (which is what Obsidian really is), and not man made, it'll be fine.

I work around large computer systems all day, but I wear a green Flourite pendant, which is not only good for balancing emotions and activating the heart chakra, it is an excellent personal negative energy shield.
