Pamela, where can I find your book?  I just might look into that.

Blackstream

Have you read Astral Dynamics?  I'm kinda curious as to what you think the realms are that Bruce has run into.  Because Bruce, least from what I have read, has not found any hells, whereas he's found quite meditative realms, a heaven realm of sorts, and of course the "astral" realm which is heavily influenced by thought.  I'm curious as to how you tie all of that back to the bible and all that (or if you do).

Life-afterdeath, my book is called As Far As I Know:Unfolding the Realities of Soul and Spirit. You can find it under my name (Pamela Scudder) at iUniverse.com in the bookstore.  I will be interested in your reaction. Thanks for the inquiry.

Blackstream, I have not yet read Astral Dynamics. I am interested in Robert Bruce's experience and explanation of OBEs, and his belief that leaving the body does not leave it empty. I hope he's right about that. He, of all people, would know if he were putting himself in danger.

As for hell, I don't know the what or where or when of it. But I think the spirits Bruce describes are mostly in some hellish condition. Perhaps it's the biblical Hades. Hell is something different. Another name for it is the Lake of Fire, and it seems to be a possible future destination for some - not now. It may be a purifying kind of place, or it may mean the permanent loss of consciousness, or it may mean permanent separationg from God. But I seriously doubt it means permanent torture. That does not fit with the biblical description of God as love. Though God is severe, His severity always has a good purpose. Not simply revenge or vindictiveness. And permanent suffering has no good purpose.

Robert, I am hoping you will see this. I have just read Practical Psychic Self-Defense, and recognize the truth about what you call "negs" - their character, why they attack who they attack, how it looks, and how to defend against them. I have recently published a book that parallels your book, but from a biblical perspective. I wonder if your astral body is really the human spirit, and the normal state of  mind, the soul. (There is a difference between soul and spirit, biblically speaking.) I have been thinking and writing for a number of years, and there is much I would like to discuss with you. I think you'd find what I have to say very interesting.
