umm, i'm not totally sure on this, but i'm pretty sure that a more practical reason that long ago churches had water running under them was for the clergy to have access to clean water at all times of the day and night, since the clergy used to (and still do?) live in the church building.
but it may have had the secondary purpose. [:)]

Why do negative's feed off us? This is a good question. If we are able to get our own energy why would they have to feed of us? I once talked to someone that told me they feed off other energy. Plants and metals etc. all have an energy force around them. Why don't they feed of the? Could there be something of important of the human energy? Or could it be they are devouring our soul. I was once told that there are "people here do good and to do bad" that one will kill if they want to become a GOD. I have done reading on some sacrifice of humans and in the movies it has an expample of it when the satanist commits a sacrifice of a human to comsume their soul for more power. I'm not sure this is true but it does fit with what I was told about becoming a God.

I guess alot of this is still unknown.
I personally like to have evidence or proof as to what is going on when dealing with science, which I consider metaphysics to be a part of.
It would be interesting to break bioenergy down or be able to separate out aspects of it.
I know the Taoists refer to energy and its refinement, but what actually happens when it is refined?
Is it this refinement that attracts negs?
Atmospheric energy(orgone, chi,etc.) has similar properties as bioenergy(energy in a living being). In fact they almost seem like they are the same thing, so if negs are attracted to one, why not the other?
As to the energy produced by a wind farm versus nuclear reactor, I am not sure I understand the connection.

Human beings have more refined powerful energy than other living things. They also have more complex and stronger emotions. It makes it so they are a better food source. Nothing can devour your soul and a satanist killing someone is not trying to become a God but a devil.
They will kill someone because the death emotion is so strong and complex that it makes it worthwhile to look for another source.

Well Succubi sort of do. A succubus feeds off of sexual energy, and I believe that somewhere there was mentioning that they can take the form of a closely loved one so that your feelings of love give them more power.
And about negs feeding off the emotions, that is incredibly true. I have been haunted many times and all the time whenever I had fear strike my heart I felt weaker and the negs didn't back off.
Negs/qlippoth are NOT like us humans connected to "The Divine Mind" and hence they are immensely jealous of us. They are as the word qlippoth implies "shells"- empty and devoid of the divine light. They want to steal our high Yetziratic/Briatic energy, and make us forget our connection to the Divine.
This also means that attributing qlippoth to the higher sephiroth Kether-Chokmah-Binah is incorrect as this would mean that the Atziluth which is all Spirit is in itself unstable.
The qlippoth are connected to worlds of Briah (mental world), Yetzirah (astral world) and Assiah (etheric/material world).

I found it interesting to know that running water has an effect on them. Many churches built long ago have running water underneath them and I never realized the connection.
Running water has interesting energetic properties. It absorbs energy, and it appears that running water also moves it, hence
if a person is dowsing for water, their own energetic stream comes into contact with the energetic stream of the water which then deflects the dowsing rod.
