The way I see it, with the mind split effect and everything, is that if they wanted to fully steal your body - ie chuck you out completely - they would have to kill you, or at least that is what it would amount to anyway.
But possession is possible, and I really dont know the mechanics of how that works. Although, if a possess occurred when someone was OBE they would probably just go straight back to body. I think?!
I hear they have to be pretty powerful demons (or their foils, I guess, angels) to take over your body. It takes 'em time to learn how to work everything.

Folks this isnt about possession, it's about visiting dimensions other than astral from which you can not return to your body so easily and any spirit that happened to be passing by in real time can *borrow* your body.

Doubtful that something could just move in and animate your body while "away". And my guess would be that it would take a lot more than standard projection to leave your body "empty" I have seen that before, but the person was under assualt, and thier body was just a shell while the whole conscious was someplace else being abused. I did find a neg in the body, but it had no control of it and was more like something laying in a sleeping bag.
My guess Tyler is that you could treat it like a possesion, and all of the difficulties that go with it. Also, getting someone completely out of there body, not just the double would be a large chore.

Physical death/near death experience is what it would take.
The physical body is never left empty while it still lives.

If this was the case, then a near death experience was in progress. I'm curious, how could you tell that this persons body was an empty shell?

If the body was in fact empty (thus temporarily dead) then it makes sense that the neg had no control over it. Virtual puppetry requires that the person still be living i.e. etheric body still within the physical.

It is a ... rather well known fact that while visiting buddic or was it mental dimenison, you are adviced to summon a guardian.
My question is, if you got a neg attached would it be possible for it to send you to some hellish plane and take control of your body?
Also is it true that once you reach certain dimensions you will stay there until your body wakes up or someone assists you directly?
