You need to draw the runes or symbols upon them. You energize them and see what color the energy becomes. You can then sing a note or song to aid yourself. I normally just feel where the vibration for the color is at energetically and just do it. You could also do the meditation for OM and vibrate it into the stones.
You can only do things at the level that you are at in your development of psychic energies. A heartfelt prayer for protection of your home and loved ones will work just as well in most cases.

Hi, I have been going through Robert's book and your website. I have placed stones with symbols on them in the four corners but it seems that I haven't been able to vibrate them. Can you tell us how to do this? Would using some kind of music help? Also do this have to be crystals and which ones? Thank you!
