[Nevermind]

Last night, I was with three friends of mine. We were talking, and the chat turned to some scary subjects. All of a sudden, we all sensed something really bad, really close. It seemed like it was feeding off of our fears, the more we thought about its presence, the stronger it got. Everything I saw was tinted red. It felt like if it got strong enough, it could do something to us, not kill us, but something that seemed almost worse. I'm not so sure about this last bit, but the words "the red devil" came to me. We all grouped closer, turned on the TV, and started singing, and, after awhile, everything seemed alright.
Can anyone tell me anything about this?

Well... there are beings that gain energy (or amusement if nothing else) from fear. Negative entities, negs, or scamps as Frank called them. So the part about feeling like some being was feeding off your fear is probably correct.

As for the rest of your experience I'm not sure what was going on. Perhaps it's a side effect of it trying to attach to you or otherwise attack you, but that's just a guess.
