I would say this is scientific bases for telepathy.

That sounds pretty slick. I've heard of a musician that records oscillations from fish and then puts it into his music. What's up with that?

Not bad, Crim [8D] I think that deserves a [^]

Crim, along the same note (but not related to psychic ability), I remember back in my physics class a story my prof told us, it concerned a study about animals deprived of light. Light is a particle and a wave and we are bombarded by light particles on a daily basis. Being a particle, light does have mass. The theory went that if a person was totally deprived of light and deprived of the sensation of feeling the light particle bombardment (however faint) the person would slowly go insane over time. We need the waves, and I wonder how it would affect us if we were altered, hint, hint.

There are probably all types of waves we interact with and don't even know about on a conscious level and some may assist in psychic ability (or least my prof thought so).

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Dark Knight

Do you have a TI-85 graphing calculator or equivalent?

Check the constants. I don't have mine on me, but I'm pretty sure it has a mass of photon (photon not proton).

Damn I forgot about relativity. I have to find my physics prof's phone number (we had a whole argument about it in class, and after all the philosophizing, I thought we had leaned toward, light particles have mass).

And Heisenberg might have been here...[8D]

I am uncertain about that [^]

The Schumann Wave looks interesting, I think that at one time there were plans to use the electrical potential between the Earths surface and the Ionosphere as an aircraft stabilisation method. I looked for a direct Nasa reference to the use of Spacecraft based Schumann wave generators but have not found any as yet. Would be interesting to see the design for such a device.

Ok this theory just came to me sitting on the crapper [8D]. I think what the confusion is that you are taking E=mc^2 (used to determine the energy potential of a amount of matter) and trying to say M = (c^2)/E or in other words trying to say that because something has energy, it has mass. If you think about it everything is energy (or else metaphysics wouldn't work), there are different kinds of energy. Some energy is expressed as mass, other as EM radiation, others as Nuclear Forces, yet more as Gravity. The latter three don't have mass, but they still have energy and exert force. It makes sense if you think about it (if you can even understand what I'm trying to say lol [;)])

Dark Knight

I "understand" what you're saying but don't ask me to repeat it [:)]

I'm a chemist not a physicist, and particle/nuclear physics was a long time ago.

Just comes a point in time when you have to put your hands up and say "i'm out of my league, I surrender" before you accidentally shove your foot along with you entire leg down your throat.

I do remember my prof mentioning how as you approach the speed of light, you start gaining weight (or in theory). Like a physical speed cop.

PyroPsion69

Yea I remeber a FLASH file about that law once, it has to do with the same reason you feel Gs on a roller coaster. I remebber it saying something about since mass increases with speed, as you reach the speed of light, you mass becomes infinite, and therefore would need infinite energy to keep accelerating. Point is you can't reach the speed of light. I don't think that is entirely true, maybe I've watched too much SciFI, but it seems like you should be able to break the speed of light.

Dark Knight

I absolutely agree, and I would think (I posed this theory to my physics prof) what if somehow the process of "gaining mass" could be reversed...you repelled mass instead (controlled of course, maybe like ballist in a balloon). They maybe you could surpass light [:D]

Hi,
I'm experimenting with brainwave synchronised sounds and binaural beats and I experienced a high-quality vibrations rising when I combined the Shumann resonance (7.8hz)with a frequency that is often used for AP (6.30hz). The "floating" method works best with these, but couldn't find any FREE literature about the Shumann res. - just some statistics etc. It's also an interesting effect when the Shumann resonance is generated in a binaural beat. Please, help me with my search.

I think mass comes with density or craming of atoms together. There is energy in all atoms but it exist as potential energy. I think there is also empty space to place a thought or activator into the space to act as a trigger to put the energy into place. Call it a force that enters the space and puts the energy into action. You can relate this to the unknown part of the brain. The subconscious there is energy sent to it and stimulates an area of the brain, this puts the energy into action. There has to be something to but things into action, a mind of some sort.

There is something I need to work on, white light, what is it's potential? Is it for good or evil, is it controlled by you or others?

Schumann Waves
Schumann waves are naturally occurring, beneficial electromagnetic waves that oscillate between the Earth and certain layers of the atmosphere. They were first identified in 1952 by Professor W.O. Schumann, a German scientist. He found that these waves have similar almost the same frequency as brain waves and follow a similar daily pattern. It has been suggested that these waves help regulate the body's internal clock, thus affecting sleep patterns, hormonal secretions, the menstrual cycle in women and so on. The American space agency NASA became interested in this phenomenom when the early astronauts returned to Earth only after a short time in space feeling distressed and disorientated. Subsequently NASA installed equipment to generate Schumann waves artificially in their spacecraft. Some modern buildings with reinforced concrete and metal roofs can inadvertantly shield occupants from these beneficial waves. Part of the reason why people suffer from jet lag is that Schumann waves are much weaker at normal aeroplane altitudes, and this effect is further weakened by the metal fuselage.
