Oh my God, you would have to post this as i arrive at my parents home in the American Midwest for the Holidays...I know the answer to this and can reference a book (a chemistry book) as to why this is happening...the chemistry book is back at my apt on the American East Coast.

Short end of the stick, from what I remember off the top of my head, lithium is required to facilitate the passage of information through the nervous system (do not quote me on this directly until I have found my chemistry book and give you a direct quote, I haven't studied this passage in years and am not a qualified expert).

But what I have described above is one of the reasons why people with chemical imbalances are given Lithium. Trying desperately to remember the specific passage...hope I am not making a fool of myself...There is a proportionality, lithium is concentrated on one side and not the other. It has to be this proportion for succesful neural transmission to occur. When it's unbalanced, it can cause severe mental problems even mania.

Can you wait about a week, I'll be back at my apt on Dec 28th?

Where abouts did you buy it ? Maybe I'll go to china town and see if i can get some. did you like the taste ?

Vin Thao? Vin, like the French word for wine? Thao, damn, I studeied Japanese not Vietnamese. I wouldn't know.

t tasted great and is much different than the Lithium capsules or tabs used in
current day psychiatry. The difference is with the other salts, elements and
compounds found in lithium water. The other elements seem to be hand-shaking
lithium in it's natural state, and bringing on a state of mind not accompanied
with lithium capsules or tabs available through a psychiatrist. I know I've tried
lithium carbonate capsules. It didn't work the same as the water. The capsules
didn't calm my mind, or make meditation easier, as a matter of fact it didn't do
anything for me. The water is much better and has other elements needed for
lithium's benefits when meditating. Get some and see what I'm talking about.
Go to china town and look for it. I'm sure it was called Vhin Tao. Bottled from
a mineral spring in Viet Nam. It's partially carbonated and comes in small
plastic bottles similar to coke and 7-up plastic bottles. Go right into the
fridge and look for the stuff in stores. It's worth it.

Heh reminds me of an inside joke in Chemistry class..."WHO WANTS LITHIUM CARBONATE BROWNIES!" pertaining to the fact that me, and my two good friends in the class are the biggest walking chemical imbalances ever...  Anyways, I'd like to try this stuff, it just might un-mess my head up [:D]. I'm not psycho or anything, just a bit unstable (has to do with being a teen I know but I don't think the average guy has it THIS bad[8)]) So you can just get this stuff at the supermarket? Also do you know what other ions are in it? I can't seem to find a good potassium source other than oranges (still haven't gotten to like bananas).

OK, for better or worse I am back in the East Coast, here is the passage from my Chemistry text, verbatim, as promised:

Lithium: Behavior Medecine

More and more people in our society seem to be suffering from the debilitating effects of mania and depression, but the alkali metal lithium can provide help for many. In fact, over three million prescriptions for lithium can provide help for many. In fact, over three million prescriptionsfor lithium carbonate are filled annually by retail pharmacies.

Although the details are not well understood, the lithium ion seems to alleviate mood disorders by affecting the way that brain cells respond to neurotransmitters, a class of molecules that facilitate the transmission of nerve impulses.

Specifically, it is thought that the lithium ion may interfere with a complex cycle of reactions that relays and amplifies messages carried to the cells by neurotransmitters and hormones. It is theorized that exaggerated forms of behavior, such as mania or depression, arise from overactivity of this cycle. The fact that lithium inhibits this cycle may be responsible for it's moderating effect on behavior.

There is a growing collection of evidence that violent behavior may result at least partially from improper regulation of neurotransmitters and hormones. For example, a study in Finland showed that violent criminals, especially arsonists, often had low levels of serotonin, a common neurotransmitter. Studies are now underway to determine whether lithium might be effective in altering violent behavior.

I read somewhere that lithium water can aid in protecting oneself from
psychic attacks. I was lucky enough to come across some last year. The particular brand I had was called either "Vin Thao" or
"Vhin Tao". It was bottled in Viet Nam and is contraband here in Canada. The water tasted great and was naturally carbonated.
The carbonation I must add was very mild and pleasant.

There's more than just lithium in lithium water. It has all sorts of compounds impossible to find anywhere else. I remember my
mind quieted
down after I drank it and my mood cheered up. I found it easier to meditate after drinking a bottle of it ( less than a pint ). I
don't think I was being psychic attacked when and after I drank it so I can't say one way or another if it works as a protection
aid against psychic attacks. Any comments?
