russian systema???
if u heard of this what are your verdicts on there techniques and have you seen there videos, do they work mindpower and all
awsome martial art i am taking it right now and no it has nothing to do with mindpower. It is basically just learning how to break your opponate down, know where to hit to make them cumple. I know it might seem unreal when a master is doing it because he barely moves and the attacker goes flying but it is because of subtle body movments that are very small that most people won't have time to comprehend what he is doing.
iv seen a video where vladmir and michael just touch there opponent breifley and they send him down, how is this achieved???
They are hitting weak points in the body such as joints or they are using their opponets momentum against them along with subtle body movments that is were they get most of their power.
so whats this breathing exercise???
I practice systema too. From my experience these "no touch" throws are manipulating the body by manipulating the psyche. One example is like how you are walking along briskly and all of a sudden a little child runs in front of you and you jolt back as not to hurt them. There is a similar effect when you know that you have these fists that feel like lead weight coming towards you. Masters like Vlad and Mikhail use this principle in many ways simultaneously as to make a person really feel like they have little control of their body. That's why it looks like people are rolling all over the place.
so its more like the unconsoious you???
ya because you don't want walk into a punch so your mind will cause you to move and you tend to get off balance especially with vald and so.
It's called the instinctive mind.
