Typo Demon: Fact or Fiction?

Whenever someone makes a mistake, we blame it on the 'typo demon'. More and more, I am convinced that this demon may be family to many others who invade our typing fingers.

I would like to start an organization dedicating to speaking sternly to the hosts of these possessive entities, and work to push them away with great fervour!

Hmmm, well actually... Scientologists believe that things like this may be caused by their version of "demons/entities" they call 'Body Thetans' (BT). The idea behind Dianetics is to rid oneself of all 'Body Thetans' and become firstly a 'Clear' and then what they call an 'Operating Thetan'. They would say that someone who makes constant typos has an 'aberration' possibly caused by a BT.

Interesting theory, perhaps then, my intense hatred is not a problem of mine, but a sensitivity to these aberrations! I am on the road to being a healer. I'll click those links to read about it soon.

Now now, I'm not correcting people, merely talking about it.

Names don't always need to be capitalized, I don't really care. Occasionally I don't capitalize god, so I can't really be hypocritical and demand differently

Well, demons try to interfere with our existence, right?

I have somewhat of a personal mission to protect people from the "existance" demon, who causes people to spell "existence" incorrectly on a regular basis, subtly making them lose touch with reality.

Another demon muddles the ability for people to achieve certainty. It causes people to regularly spell "definitely" as "definately," making them think that they're really sure but actually aren't.

Someday, I'll expose the demon who is responsible for the inter-misuse of "effect" and "affect."
