Hey there!

For what its worth, I woke up a couple of years ago with a dark black figure at the bottom of my bed. I came to the conclusion (with some other truly unnerving data from the incident) that it was my resident neg, and the reason I was able to see it was because it was getting ready to do something. I woke because, IMO, my body felt this thing in my room, materialising or whatever, and decided I really should best not be sleeping.
In your case, however, I doubt the things you are seeing are bearing down on you with hostile intent - have you ever experienced proper attacks? I suspect, however, you woke up for similar reasons to me. Your mind/boby sensed the presence of something else around you - on some of the occasions. You were able to see them probably because, straight after we wake up, we often have real time sight still going strong ie seeing into the near astral. I have a friend who, like you, sometimes wakes up to see things like spiders etc in his room, of various sizes. The advice I gave him was not to worry - if they aint hurting you, best leave them alone and see them as a kind of point of interest. If you started waking up on a regular basis and seeing scary stuff, that would be a different matter, but I dont think thats the case here.
Well, that covers "some" of the things you have seen! The flowers incident, probably a close spirit (someone deceased, a familiar type, etc) woke you up and used your temporary real time sight to show you a bunch of flowers and temporary real time hearing to speak to you. Or if it/they were more skilled they could probably implant them into your own mind or use some more powerful technique (but since this is occuring as part of a pattern, I doubt it). I also strongly doubt your own subconscious mind would wake you up and give you such a message - it would almost certainly come through in a dream instead, and wouldn't have been so....normal! Be totally bizarre if that was a creation of your own subconscious IMO.
The bright glow in your room, again your mind waking you up and real time sight. Probably picking up on some local energy field or event (human or natural, I dunno, would probably say natural but intuition says human.....meh!).
The weird eye......um!!!!!! Well its obviously symbolic of the third eye.....err I thought the lotus flower was supposed to represent the crown chakra but I am not sure about that. Anyway this is a blatent referance to your anja chakra (third eye). I would say that because you've been doing NEW your energy body is becoming more powerful and active and, as a consequence, your anja chakra is becoming more and more active also. You might well start seeing more things as you wake up, and in general.....although where this one came from, I couldn't say! I would, however, assume the source to be the same one as gave you the flowers! Probably like saying "hey! You're doing well, keep it up! Your anja is looking real sweet!" or similar [;)]. If this is the case you can also say whoever sent the message has a good knowledge of the human energy body, know anyone dead like that?

So nooo, dont worry about this stuff! Your room aint becoming a zoo! - I mean, how many real spiders do you see on average every day? And how many astral spiders??? I would guess more of the former, right??!
Personally, if I were you, I would be more chuffed than concerned! Think of it this way - you've got a nice spirit out there that likes you and gives you interesting message to wake up to occasionally (you could try and make further contact, but dont jump to any conclusions....). AND you have natural psychic skills. AND your NEW practices are bearing unusual fruit. Pukka!!!!![:D]

hope this helps..

I think you are experiencing the Astral that's all around us.  It's never dull is it?

Astral Wildlife can be unnerving.  I used to get my most upset going down to the kitchen for a snack after doing high energy work.  I'd 'see' things.  Now with a properly warded home, it's not an issue (at least NEG wise, friendly spirits aren't usually stopped by wards).  It can still be unnerving, because there are "pack" style astral wildlife, creatures that run in groups.  I have a distinct memory of being really frustrated in the bathroom one night, so I turned on the light and ...ummm...you know right through them [:O]

Now I generally don't have a problem becuase I don't percieve the harmless critters unless I'm in a meditative state.
(negs I like to think I'd feel right away)

I actually think I had a NEG last night.  I was just starting to cast a ward when the phone rang (married, kids, no workroom).  In hindsight I didn't finish the ward (duh).  I was trying something a little different spread myself thin to try and percieve something.  I had this really wierd sensation on my left shoulder (maybe it was the new soap?).  I had the distict impresion of a 1 foot squid creature trying to attach.  I tried to brush it off (duh again), then calmy imagined myself filled with the pure white light of good.  It promptly vanished (although I think it tried to sneak back later).  I treat things like exactly like a mosquito, annoying but nothing else.

New moon tommarrow, time for new permanet wards [:D]
There is a physical limitation upon how much light a human body can sustain. Interestingly, there is no limit on how much light a human vessel can generate. When fully enlightened you must instill your light in order to maintain its wisdom.

Well, whaddayaknow! I'm staying at my parents place at the moment, and when we painted my room, I put loads of pentagrams, crosses, and other sacred symbols with rather large proportions in paint as a kind of undercoat. Lol they've given up asking me questions....
Anyway in the last week or so I've felt something in my room at night. Then, last night, I woke up about 30mins to an hour after going to sleep to see some weirdy kinda scary face/figure standing RIGHT NEXT TO MY HEAD!!! On my right. The cheek!!!! It was also playing silly bugger with my mind while I slept (suspect its been the cause of some disturbing dreams too). I didn't stop to take a second look, and got up out of bed heading for the light switch (to my left - while singing YHVH[:P]). I was pretty disorientated through, and moved in almost totally the wrong direction, took some fumbling. I was NOT impressed....damn thing.
But weird, cos if it was a true nasty neg, it wouldn't have like the atmosphere in there at all (still, could have been). If an ex-human, it probably wouldn't have looked like it did or had the skill to play with mi'heid. So, elemental maybe? Something from "somewhere else"? Weird.

gotta go eat brunch...

Inguma:

To the best of my current knowledge, this is the case:
The Christian cross is also known as the unbalanced cross. Why ? - because one line is longer than the rest. The balanced cross has lines of equal length.

If you draw a symbol which is unbalanced, what is it going to attract ?

- Balanced energies ? Does like attract like or does opposites attract ?

If I am a hateful person, do I attract love ?

What "sacred symbols" are sacred to whom ?
The Illuminati makes extensive use of symbols, and if you've read David Icke's books, and investigated for yourself, you will know that they are not "the good guys"

Also worth reading is RB's White Light shields article: http://www.astralpulse.com/articles/robert/articles_18.htm

Hey cinnabardk

They are sacred symbols because they have been held sacred for so long in the minds of so many people - and as such have been connected higher forces. Deities are created on similar lines.
They may also have power of their own inherant in the geometry eg like pyramidal shapes (see book "shape power" by dan davidson).
In this instance, I think I used practically every sacred symbol I could think of!! [:D]

interesting thoughts though

But from what you are saying it may not have worked?

The good news is that paint is cheap ;)

Many years ago I was living at a place where we had put a couple of symbols on the wall and a number of years later subsquent tenants commented that when decorating they found some symbols that appeared etched into the plaster. They were quite in awe of that, they seemed very impressed by it :)

'Ello; sorry for taking so long to reply.

Iguma: thanks for your insight; I think you're probably on to something.  Whatever these "visions" are, they're at least benefitting me in that it gives me motivation to press on with the AP efforts.

As for the flowers, no, I really have no idea who it might possibly be.  The only two dead people I know are both my grandpas who died about ten years ago.  However, the voice was female, and sounded a whole lot like a friend from highschool.  That seems really unlikely though; I lost touch with said friend soon after graduation.  That was about five years ago, and she's now married with kids, so I doubt she'd even *remember* my birthday if she ever knew it to begin with.  Then again, back then she also told me about premonitions and things that always seemed to happen to her, so I now think she probably had quite a bit of psychic potential.  So who knows?

While I'm thinking of it though... last night... holy hell.  I had just done some NEW, meditated for a bit and went to bed.  Well, I was at my girlfriend's place, sleeping on an air mattress in their family room.  As I was drifting off, I felt a spinning sensation in my head... and then it felt like two hands grabbed the corners at the feet of the mattress, and started wrenching them up and down, as if someone was trying to roll me off.

Problem is, I can't verify whether this was all in my head, or whether the mattress actually moved, because I was so tired at the time.  I think I'm leaning toward it being an AP-related exit sensation, because I'm pretty sure I would've been jolted into coherency if my mattress was really trying to throw me off, heh... I'd like to think that's what it was anyway, because that's significantly less unnerving than thinking something was trying to physically roll me out of bed.  But yeah, weirdness.

For as long as I can remember, I've occasionally experienced strange waking imagery.  The pattern is always the same -- shortly after falling asleep, I'll wake up suddenly, for no apparent reason, look over, and see something hovering somewhere in my room.  Oddly, the image has never had any connection to anything I'd been dreaming.  Usually I've only been asleep for a few minutes, so there hasn't been enough time to start dreaming anyway.  Also a bit strange is the fact that I've never experienced any fear when this happens, despite the fact that some of the images are decidedly unnerving.

Of the ones I can remember, I've seen:

--A goat's head hovering in the middle of the room.
--A dark, shadowy humanoid figure, mostly black with bits of red, crawling on the ceiling.
--One or two unnaturally large spiders crawling on the wall, either behind where my head rests or on the right side.
--I have a random childhood memory of a huge spider with bat wings on a white wall.  I had always passed it off as something from a dream, my imagination, or a false memory... until I saw one again a lot more recently.
--Woke up by a female voice going "hey Jon!" to find what looked like a gift basket of flowers hovering over my bed.  I consider this one significant, because it happened on the night of my birthday.
--The whole room glowing red (numerous times).
--A large scorpion.  Had the presence of mind to try putting my hand through this one for the hell of it; nothing happened.
--Something that looked like a page of text above my window, that faded before I could read it.
--Something that looked like an indistinct green face.

The latest one, about two nights ago, was by far the most interesting.  Late that night, I did some NEW, meditated for a bit, and then went to bed.  I woke up suddenly to see a stylized, emotionless eyeball, in the middle of what looked like a large flower with tons of petals radiating out from it in a large circular pattern, all in shades of blue.  At the time, the eye reminded me of the one atop the pyramid on a $1 bill.

The reason this one is so interesting is the story behind it.  The day before I'd seen this thing, I had some guy post in a personal forum of mine, partly to plug some artwork on his own page, but I didn't have time to go check it out that day.  The day after I saw this "vision," I happened to go to his page on a whim, and saw this:

http://iam.bmezine.com/r/j/hsd9o8/u2mvqqt3.jpg

...And my jaw dropped.  The eye and coloring is identical; the pattern around it is pretty damn close... the only thing missing was the Jesus in the middle.  I haven't decided if I'm going to say anything to this guy yet, or what I'd say if I did; I have no idea what to think.

The reason I'm posting is to hopefully get some input on what to make of all this.  I'd really like to figure out what's causing it, whether I should have any cause for concern, etc.  The possibilities I've come up with are that it's either random imagery generated by a tired mind, or something independent of me.  The former is what I thought when it first started happening anyway; not so much now, especially after the birthday present and the cyclops flower incident, though I think the possibility that it's "all in my head" still hasn't been disproven.

If it's the latter, then that opens up a whole lot of other possibilities.  Are the images themselves entities, or are they generated by something unseen?  Is it all from one source, or has my room become an astral zoo?  I would think they'd have to be from more than one source, since at least one seemed friendly, many are neutral, and some were distinctly unnerving.  Are they something I should be concerned about, or attempt to rid myself of, even though they don't evoke any fear or harm me in any way as far as I know?

I recently bought PPSD, partly because I thought it might have some insight on these sorts of things, but no such luck.  Well, the countermeasures will come in handy if I decide I need them, but I don't even know what these things are, let alone whether they warrant my opposition.  Aside from that, the only description of something similar were "astral spiders," but it didn't have much else to say about them.  If nothing else, I have them to thank, because this strange phenomena was largely what first got me interested in all the subjects that eventually brought me here to AP.

So... insight, anyone?
