WOW! What are shadow people? I wanna meet them!

Well what an exciting place I've gotten myself into! I've been reading this thread "Help they are stalking me!" and u all have been talking about shadow people! Who/what are shadow ppl? What can I do to encounter them? I've never had any supernatural experiences and I'm new to all this. I'm dying for some sort of ghostly adventure:)

Plz tell me how I too can come across these shadow people? Are they ghosts? No offence intended but boy I always thought that all of this astral stuff & energy things are figments of imagination!

I wanna get into all this stuff...plz help me & guide me and rekindle my life!

I think to reach toward spiritual guides that may really help you may be a more pleasant experience but if you really want to see those shadowy type of people, that's your personal choice (many will probably tell you to be careful of course....) but this is not something I would first do if I was a good astral traveler....

  ignorance is bliss. i think you're seeking a definition. a google search will retrieve much on this subject. there are several, various types of shadow people, but a simple explanation would be a lower astral being that hovers in between the astral and the physical. they're predatory beings in a sense, but their missions are usually recon based. they're stalkers/informants plain and simple.

this is truly not the experience you are seeking. at this point in time i feel the so called "shadow beings" are everywhere. they're watching you now, but have no need to interact or make themselves known at this time. ask and you shall receive (of course), but it's along the lines of selling your soul to the devil, or welcoming vampires into the house. once you initiate contact you pretty much lose control on your end. i suggest doing some ol' fashion ghost hunting if you're just interested in a good scare. tape recorder for evp work, cemeteries on full moons...that sort of thing. if you're interested in befriending shadow people, you're someone with a desire for the dark arts, and there is MUCH to learn first, before any conjuring/summoning beings!!!

You want to meet them eh? Well I hope you know how to fight.  Or ward them off.  Cause thats like breaking open a ant farm in your house without bugspray.  They may try to hurt you, they may not.  Most likly they will, so be ready.  Its good to see that youre ambitous though.

Trust me, you don't wanna meet em.  I used to think the same way as you, but trust me..... bad idea.  You really don't know enough about em to start wanting to see em.  It's almost like eating random mushrooms in the forest..... your asking for trouble.

I would start with energy work and AP and getting that to become a reality for you before jumping straight in with shadow people and those sorts of things.

Its like wanting to go hooning down a hill on a mountain bike when you've not ever been on a bike with training wheels!

does everyone have an anology for summoning the shadow people

i am gonna agree with them and tell you not to try to summon or see the shadow people but that doesn't mean that you can't learn about them

also you don't really need to summon or see them few people acctually do need to summon in there lives but i doubt u need to

In the early '90's I experienced a haunting for a few years.  I've seen these shadow people and I really don't care for them.  They freaked me out by just being seen.  I even saw them in the dark of night, and that is how dark they are.  You do not want to meet them.  When I stopped being afraid, and basically turned off to this stuff, I stopped seeing them.  My downfall was being afraid, and now I know that they really can't hurt me. (At least I hope).  

Don't try to meet things that you don't understand, it can be dangerous to you, both physically and psychologically.  I never ever want to see those things again.

This is the first time I have heard about this.  I also thought I saw a shadow person when I was kid.  As a matter of fact I was so positive I saw a shadow person I told everyone that I saw an alien at my school.  This was around the time X-Files was on TV so no one believed me.  But, I was so certain that I saw a shadow person.

When I first saw it I was a little kid and it scared the excrement out of me.  It was a dark shadow that I could see in darkness.  And, it really was  a shadow and it moved in my room.  To my knowledge it also had glowing red eyes but perhaps I imagined that part later on.  However, this shadow was not a human but a person who had a squid face and who wore worn out clothes.  I could feel great negativity generating from it and I felt as if it did not mean me any good.

I hid under my covers hoping that it would not see me.  Because of this encounter I am afraid of the dark, a little to this day.  I also had a weird feeling that this shadow being was out to get me.

Can anyone verify if this was a shadow person I saw or was it something else.

You may be right but aren't mind flayers not real.  However, I did a quick search on shadow people and I found out the most surprising thing that leads me to believe I really saw a shadow person.  The website I went on said they had red eyes and sure enough the shadow person I saw had red eyes.  But, the website also said they vanish like a flicker but I saw this shadow for more than a minute.

I actually really think I saw a shadow person.  I always thought for the longest time that it was some sort of alien.  Well, perhaps I am right.
