Hello all. I happened to stumble upon the movie, What the $#@% do we know. Amazing film. One thing that I got out of the film and correct me if I'm wrong, but. It seemed to say that if you believe, in every part of your organic  bran and subconscious of a particular dream or desire, without any doubt whatsoever, it will have no choice but to manifest itself to you? This seems plausible to me. Has anybody experimented with anything of this nature? I'm not talking about willing riches, but small stuff. It seems to me that when I have accomplished things, it occurs to me that I can't recall ever doubting myself in the process. Take something small for instance. There was a mountain bicycle frame. You'll probably think I'm nuts, but it was $3500 at the time. I simple said, I'm going to get it and that was it. I couldn't afford it all at once, but gave them a deposit and paid for it over a 1/2 years time. However I never once said "I'll never be able to get that"

So I wonder if I basically manifested this into my reality by not having any doubt that the goal would occur. What do you think about this manifestation stuff and the hypothesis of modern science that the inside affects the outside and not vice versa?

Hello knuckle brain,

I can understand what your talking about,

it happens to me and everyone all the time, people don't know they have that ability.

In my case, i've noticed that if I let desires go they physically manifest, if the desire is strong and their is no doubt then it will manifest.

some examples of manifestation, is being passive and letting go of anger when I harmed or wronged, the wrongdoers will get F&&ked up and somehow I hear of the news.

another case is, when I believe that something is very possible, yet doubt that i will recieve it, and just forget about it, then it comes true and manifests sometime in the future when I am least aware of it and suspect it. Letting "it" go reduces doubt and allows things to be accomplished.

I think it also has to do partly with "Synchronicity" things in sync, if you believe it so much, than the desire and the desired become one and get attracted to each other, im sure you've heard "like attracts like", "you get what you deserve", "the recompense for evil is evil likeof" etc.

Yes, I do have such experiences. A few times I had some desires which were nothing really big, and they surprisingly were granted within months. When I pondered back on the efforts I made to get them, the effort was almost nil, it came naturally.

I also found that while making the desires I unknowingly believed that I would get them 100% and just pretended that they are about to happen soon, whenever I remembered of them, then forgot about them quickly without much worry.

I dont understand how you can measure your belief. For me at least, its either I believe or I dont. There is no in between.

i do think its possible and i have a few experiences like that myself. one of them was when i was still in school and i wasnt doing well in german. i simply told myself im going to be the best in my class, and i did indeed become the best in my class. i felt enormous energy as i declared this to myself. i also had an experience concerning manifestation in the astral when i had a lucid dream. this is taken from my "diary" of experiences of this kind, i wrote this when i woke up:

on the astral plane things manifest instantly. i know this from experience through lucid dreams. on the physical plane they take longer to manifest. maybe thats why we have the illusion of time.

astral plane, instant manifestation, you create your reality. all what you see is your creation.
"as in heaven, so be it on earth"

also, based on another lucid dream:

your reality are your thoughts. if you think you can, you can, if you think you cannot, you cannot.

(flying dream, when in doubt, i went towards the ground, bumpy ride. but when confident in my flying, i just pictured it and it happened as i pictured it)

i think things work similarly on the physical plane, just that things take longer to manifest due to the physicalness and density of it all.
