Hopefully you will stick around Osman!
We need some more Muslims here as I noticed Islam is not much represented on this board as yet.

For that matter, it would be nice to get some more Orthodox christians here as well, I met a few while I was in Greece and thought they were very interesting..

Everyone, whether you are Christian or not (I'm not), you should take a visit to an Orthodox church sometime, especially the little ones. The atmosphere inside is amazing, the small ones are very initimate, quite dark (but not in a bad way), wonderful decoration, beautiful icons, comfortable and contemplative in an almost buddist way, and very very cosy!

I dont think you can get around time. Time is nothing and everything at the same time. You said it yourself (see bold quote) allright time for us...goes faster then it goes for something like god.
I don't say time exist everywhere because I didn't travel far enough to know :-) But I just say...how do wanna destroy the concept of time?

Linear time is related to the Knowledge of Good and Evil, because we only experience time as a change of the state of our present experience, if that makes any sense.  The most basic notion of time is "I was happy, now I'm not happy"...  that is to say, we go through various states according to the degree that our present state is different from our past.

God, on the other hand, does not change, and so is beyond time.  The Kabballah teaches that the highest form of God is the Ain Soph, or Limitlessness, which is Nothingness.  Nothing, in essence, is what comes before Everything.  If you have a blank slate, it is the highest form of potential; and as infinite potential is how we can think of God.

So anyway, linear time is a concept associated with the sephira of Gevurah (Severity), which has to do with the restrictive force that defines the expansiveness of Chesed (Mercy).  In other words, time is part of the force that allows us to be separate from God (and everything) so that we can change and grow, eventually reuniting with God through love.  The separation occurs so that we may experience the love that brings us back together.
