Past and Future

Hmmmmmmm, going back in time.  Make sure you hit the exact right timeline, and not an alternative or nothing will happen, or will it?

Well I think if it where possible to travel backwards in time , it would be impossible to hit the right universe(paradox prevention ).But you could get back in time in a parrallell universe looking exactly like this at the chosen date).

Traveling to the future should be relative easy as it is in our universe design to do it(just need a cryopod a way to be revived safely and you got a rudimentary maschine).

So say you was tasked by the goverment going back and killing Sadam Hussain (Hitler is all used up in thise discussions[]) , I think they would see you leave (Disintegrate or something) but never to return again. And no changes would be detected(not that any changes ever would be possible to detect if you did hit the right universe).

I think it would apear as the maschine didnt work and they would give the project up . While you in the past(in another universe) would be able to shoot Sadam change event , heck even shoot yourself usurp your otherself life and realy be a bad person.

I think it would be wonderful if we could go back in time and change past events..I would have many changes to make..LOL
But if in making the changes is it right? how will it affect the present and the future to make such changes?
Am I playing God,in making the changes in past events?
By making the things happen that I should have done,said..etc in the past,how will it affect other people in my life,family friends,lovers etc..?
It would be intresting although maybe dangerous if it were possible.
that is just my opinion.

Hallo to everyone at Astral Pulse. It has been a long time since I posted ( no longer have a computer [] ).
Jon 88 just nailed one !!!
Einstein's 'Grandfather paradox' (theoretically) explained why it is impossible for a person to go back in time in this same universe. To make the explanation short and simple --- If it were possible to go back in time in this same universe then (theoretically) people WOULD DO IT CONSTANTLY and CONSTANTLY CHANGE (Screw up) this universe-timeline by constantly changing the past (for better or Worse) and therefore changing the Present.
However Quantum Physics (theoretically) provides a means to travel into the past -> into another quantum parallel universe = an alternate timeline, thereby Not changing this universe/timeline and leaving everything as it was/Is.
This may seem like a difficult concept to understand but if you consider it for awhile then it makes PERFECT Common Sense!!![]

Time is not real, it is just something that we percieve. There is change. Constantly moving. (yeah yeah, change is a perception too, but what the heck, lets assume that it's not.) With this, it is impossible to move back and forth through time. However, it could be possible to move through different universes (just because they run parallel to one another, does not mean that they have to be parallel in the changes already made). If one was to move over to a different universe that is EXACTLY like ours, except at a point before the "present", then we could change the "past" there to making that universe no longer like ours, but into something else.

Now, if change is not true, and something that we perceive, while time is the constant, then it would be a different matter altogether. Moving through time could be possible, but perhaps the reason we cannot is because there is no such thing as change, so therefore we cannot "change" the past.

Next, we have neither time nor change. With this, everything is. Both are just perceptions of the mind, so therefore there is no moving between universes, nor moving through time. We just are, so get over it.

Finally, there is that both time and change exists. Both are at a constant, which is the problem at hand. If change is at constant, then if we were to try to move through time, we would be hit with a change of not being able to stop it.

1-Do you think that, at least in theory, its possible to come back to past?

As you may know, that will create many paradox, like for example: i go back to the past and kill myself when i was younger (or my mother before she is pregnant of my person). What would happen?

2-What about seeing the future? Is that really possible? DO we have a destiny? Maybe we have and we will never know it: if i see in my future that i am gonna have a car accident in a given time, i will try to avoid that. But if i am gonna to avoid it, that will not be my future, so i am not gonna to see me having the accident...?! Or should i see both things? I mean: i will see the acident and see me seeing the accident and see me avoiding that?

What if then i choose to do something different just to contradict the future? Like, i will not have the accident and i will avoid it, but, just for "trick" the time, i will make other person having the accident (dont ask me how, just imagine that i am really bad..eheh).

So, maybe i will see 3 things: the accident, tme avoiding the accident and me making other person having it.

This list would continue to the inifinite,a ccordingly with my wishs. This is ridiculou so i think that what happens its that there is no destiny and we just see "hints" and warnings for the future.

Its like a pool game:  i know that the white ball that its moving will hit in the red one....unless i "cheat" on the game and, with a quiack move take out the red one of the way. With that there will not exist a colision. I just see the white ball moving, then i must decide what to do.

The same with future. Just see the white ball as the future events and the red one as the "target" of such events. The hand its our choices and power to act on that future...
