If anyone can answer (especially bevis) please do.

I read about one of his posts about the future and past stuff, energy lookping, multi-branch universe, dividing 0 my x (forgot name of post) and it makes perfect sense.

anyways one thing i dont get is random.

Lets say i flip a coin. it could be heads, or tails.
It lands on tails.
I go back in time, and do the same exact thing, using same amount of force and positioning of my hand and it flips.
It HAS to land on tails right?
Yes, there could be 2 paths, but  you flipped the coin, lets say hard, and it landed on tails.
Well you COULD of flipped it to heads, but in order for you to flip differently you would have to positioned your hand.
But you didnt.
For simplicity, lets say we are all living in the present by luck. (if you even know about that, if not then its ok)
The only way for there to be a different outcome there has to be a different past. But in order for there to be a different past there has to be a different past. copy and paste over and over.

Now before i go on with that i want to make sure i didnt lose you.
So you flipped it "hard" because you were mad. Go back in time, still mad, same outcome.
Your mom made you mad, that made you flip hard.
Now the only way for you not to flip hard is your mom cant make you mad.
Now what made mom make you mad? That has to change.
But that whole concept has to keep going back and back.

Finally at the beggingin
So from the beggining something must of happened differently in order to create all those paths somehow.
Somehow isnt good, well good for me, but not good for the logical explaining.
What is the somehow is what i want to know. lets continue.

there has to be infinate beginnings somehow. (mabey god or of some sort did that)
... crap, just thought that through that doesnt work.
Well i was going to say that if there was multiple begginings than everything is possible. BUT the path YOU live in is a done deal, the path is made. there is no multiples of YOUR universe. Yes, mabey some other universe ended up almost exactly like yours and you did flip heads, but not yours. it was inevitable in your universe that you will flip tails.

I spent a while studying randomness in a crytopgraphy course I took at the University. One of my professors worked on the RSA algorithm back in the 70's developing advanced random number generators.  Now there used in lottery machines, playing card shufflers, etc. but they rely on software and are therefore pseudo-random or predictable, relying on mathematical formulas. True randomness can only occur in nature. For example, using a radio receiver to pick up atmospheric noise to generate random numbers. However, theoretically its impossible to prove that a random number generator is really random. All you can do is analyse an increasing amount of numbers produced by a generator. If its physically and mathematically impossible to predict the results, then the results are truly random.

yea, i get that part of random, but not the universe, going back in time different outcome random.
Or how all universe are the same from the beginning but end up changing to infinatly different outcomes.
the whole idea that YOUR universe branches because somehow someone chose a different path, but also that same person chose another path through going in a "loop" (because time isnt linear) That part i do not get.
Ill post the link to beavis's thing and hopefully that might help. but it is pretty complicated
