Is it possible that we may one day be able to use technology to peer into the structure of space itself, the same way we can now see atoms, & particle tracks now?

I was thinking that subspace could simply be the quantum structure of space.Observing this could solve the quantum-gravity question, by allowing us to directly observe whether matter actually curves the structure of space-time.If this is the case, then gravity would basically be the way that matter disturbs the structure of space-time.The same way that space & time are intimately interlinked, matter & gravity would be as well.

Does this sound about right, or what? :?

Subspace is the ionic world; the world of thought.

We can't actually SEE atomic structure.

Probably the best explanation.

Truth exists beyond the dimension of thought.

We can see atoms? That's new...

"We can see atoms? That's new..."

we cannot "see" atoms, we can only see the representations of the electron cloud that surrounds the atoms (scanning-tunneling electron microscope)

we can detect the effect atoms have on other particles and vice versa, but it is impossible to ever "see" an atom.  It's  like trying to look at a grain of sand by throwing boulders at it and determining the boundaries of the grain of sand by the deflection of the boulders.

there just isn't enough resolution (in current technology) to view atomic nuclei.
