Theory - We are one with everything on an Atomic level.[not correct]

HiRes

Okay so last night, while attempting to open my third eye, I had a thought. It was.. Everything is made of atoms, and all atoms have electrons that can orbit it for up to miles away from the nucleus, So technically every things atoms intermingle making us all one big entity.

Does anyone else think this is a viable theory?

Could this also explain how TK works? Us learning to use our atoms to cause changes in other objects. Maybe the pineal gland(third eye) is the source of this control?

I now know I am wrong :] This thread can be closed

Not particularly, there's still enough space around for the electrons to move around on their own. TK, well that's a touchy subject somewhat. There's no method to do it. You just "do it" I would say that the physic part of your brain kicks into gear. Causing you to be able to "blend" with the energy of the object thus, being able to move the object.

Well I know that, but technically nothing is fully solid, their are tiny atomic holes in everything? (not sure on this, but I have yet to see anything say otherwise)
If my theory where proved correct, then being able to "blend" with the energy of another object would be the same as the protons from us interacting with the protons of another object. The protons being the energy emitting from everything. Also it could possibly explain Telepathy. If our brains protons where mingling with another brains protons, theoretically they could exchange information.

I don't know how strong my theory can hold up, but I do wish to see what other people have to say about it

The way your theory is set up is saying, that if i was to move to the left, than i'd be pulling someone, who knows where they are, with me. Everything is 99% empty space, i find it silly how "they" say we just happen to be touching everything within that 1%

hmm >.> I meant more like since protons can move miles away from the the nucleus that we could, in turn, control them to move other objects. they can move where ever they please, so they could move objects without me actually moving my hand, just the protons emitting from my hand. or the energy emitting form my hand.

Careful not to split the atom than  :-D

;p so it could be a viable theory?
I do honestly have a tendency to come up with random thoughts I think are good at the time, but later end up feeling stupid. I just want some other peoples opinions on the matter.

It sounds like the kind of theory where half the scientist say "yay" and the other half say "nay" causing a big debate that goes on endlessly

xD Yeah, but that's what I want a big debate ;p

Well, essentially everything that we know in this physical reality is made up of vast quantities of NOTHING with some small 'stuff' tossed in.  LoL

For telekinesis... you don't need to so much control the small stuff, as much as you just need to realize and truly believe that you have an effect on it.

I know, and understand this :p but this could possibly be an explanation for how it works. I am not saying it is the answer to the question, but it would explain it on a more scientific level ;p

Xanth

Honestly, I doubt science will ever explain anything like this.  We'll need to move beyond science eventually.

Whatever that next step is, who knows.  lol

HiRes

All I have to say is I do not hope aliens come to us with the answer.

Okay, so I know for a fact I am wrong, this thread can be closed :p

I don't think it is a question of moving beyond science- it is not that the answers live in some magical realm not accessible to scientific discourse; I think it is more a question of gradually broadening science to encompass these new areas in its consideration.

Scientists practicing today are definitely acting under confirmation bias towards materialist answers, and are committing the unscientific error of looking for positive reinforcement, while ignoring the possibility of the cases that disprove materialism as a direct answer; but it is not a flaw with science per se, but rather those who practice science today; they can be prey to accidental dogmas and presumptions, and artificially constrict the set of what is discussed, but the flaw lies in humans, not in the concept of science.

But I think maybe that is what you mean, in a more literal sense- you feel it is time to move beyond conventional assumptions, I am guessing.
