Hey guys, new poster here. Started dabbling with Astral Projection this summer. It's been an extremely enlightening experience, and though I don't agree with everything that some of the "masters" say, and some of those trying to sell books and other products are saying, I still find all of this extremely fascinating. Through my travels, mostly only in the RTZ, a little in the Astral, I have found myself in a 180 turn-around in life, success and happiness. I try to explain this to friends/family, and most listen but are still reluctant to try it. First let me start off with a little bit of background.
I recently graduated college, this summer I was finishing up an internship. After a depressing senior year, last fall and this spring I found myself looking for answers. Answers about myself, the universe, why certain things had happened to me, etc. I guess this is what they call the "soul searching" period when you're trying to find yourself. I was a staunch atheist up until about June of this year, and had hatred, and contempt for the "mainstream" religions, Christianity, Catholicism, even Islamic to an extent. I still do not like these religions to an extent, but instead of hating them, I feel sorry for their misunderstanding of the universe, and their ignorance to explore further than the pages of their religious texts. Though, I'm sure that any belief system will appear as you want it too when you finally pass away, this is merely a projection of how you think it should be, (I.E. your brain believes strongly in Jesus, therefore at the end of your life in an NDE as you float along the "tunnel" you see Jesus at the end of it). Meanwhile Jesus is a conscious entity, perhaps the source of all consciousness, and not the robed, mythological figure. Regardless, I found myself drawn to what mainstream society refers to as "new age," which I have found is not really "new" at all. The "new age" religion, is more a combination of intellect, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taosim, etc. I have always been one to go against the norm, and it was through this that I found what I believe to be the truth of the universe and how it works. I first found myself attracted to the Old Soul definition. I believe myself to be an Old Soul, and though I have not had any past-life regressions, I can recall events/places/people that I just know I've been involved with before. Similar to Deja Vu, but different in a sense that I feel comfortable with these people, at these places, or remembering these events. I'm pretty sure I've lived very fulfilling lives, never anyone huge or famous, just a simple guy trying to get through his physical plane experiences.
In any case, this summer I came up with my own theory, which I believe is the best way to understand the universe and how it works. I came up with this without any readings, without any prior knowledge of the Eastern religions, or the "new age" religion. And what I found was that after I had developed this theory, it was eerily similar to the religions cited above. This furthered my belief that I had probably lived many lives, many times, and had studied this knowledge and understanding to an extent before. Basically what this long post boils down to is, have you guys had experiences like this? An intuition of "just knowing things?" It seems uncanny to me that I could just develop these theories on my own, and then have them match up with an ancient knowledge that seems to captivate the minds of many intelligent people who aren't bound by a mainstream religious doctrine.
For one, the first theory I developed was the difference between physical and what I call spiritual dimensions. Obviously, the RTZ, Astral, Mental, etc are the spiritual dimensions. I originally came up with the idea that perhaps our souls (consciousness) are formed through a process at the center of our galaxy (or a galaxy) through some sort of manifestation. The center of the galaxy would be the source (God). Maybe this happens in every galaxy, maybe not. I thought that this was an original idea, only known to me (and maybe others), but then I found out that many ancient religions held this belief as well. When I heard this, it was sort of that shiver down the spine sensation and a slap on the back, "Welcome to the real world" sort of feeling. I also thought I was a native to the "consciousness exists in light, we come from light." Quantum Physics is starting to prove a lot of this could possibly be the case. We have an extremely limited understanding of this physical world, and if there were some sort of symbiotic relationship between the humans on the physical, and the energy that our consciousness is, that wouldn't surprise me. This leads me to my second big question. What if a biologically advanced creature, does not contain a consciousness? Do they automatically not function? Is this the same as being "brain dead?" I think that our scientists are so arrogant in the fact that they think they know everything, especially psychologists and sociologists (no offense to any here :-D)
I guess what I'm really getting at is what do you guys think? What are some of your theories? Do you share similar ideals as I do, or is there something I am missing? I'll be projecting and thinking about it tonight. Best wishes.
HI,
Just a couple of things to discuss.......
One is I really like your explanation for people seeing Jesus when they die. Many 'deadies', as I like to call the ones I work with when taking them across into the light, do see what they believe they will see... at least until they wake up from the dream that is life.
The traditional presentation of Jesus as a causcasian male with long hair and beard is easily layered onto other beings people will meet in NDE or other journeys. Some beings present themselves with the Archetypical long white hair and beard, etc, and many people who meet these representations of their Higher-Self believe that they met Jesus. And when you tell them what it was they met, the people reply with vehemence based on their chosen and indoctrinated belief-system.... mainly christians in fact. Many of these are the smallest of small minded people.
We must address the Concept of Old and New souls. The concept appeals to many people, and particularly those believing themselves to be somehow spiritually superior to others... no offence meant to you there. As you will find the concept is rife within the New-Age Industry, with many believers claiming themselves to be Old souls, thereby making others New souls, and therefore less spiritually attained... you will notice this is reflected in their choice of clothing too as befits the Unbalanced Ego.
All Souls are Equal. All were created in the earliest phases of the Aware Universes diversification of itself into everything that exists or has existed so far. In which case, there is no such a thing as an Old or New Soul.. in fact, the only way a Soul could be termed New is if it is New to this Earth Experience.
Let me explain the premise of that last statement......... Because all souls are incredibly ancient, they have chosen Experiences in other worlds, other realities and dimension of existence within this Universe. They have also Ascended from those Experiences and gone on to choose other Experience forms. So, all souls that volunteered to have the Experiences availabe here on Earth are really Ascended Beings already... we are just here for the Experience without any judgements about it. And we are here to experience everything this place can provide to us so that the Aware Universe has the experience of Itself and its abilities.
So this Universe is no different to you or me in that we are born into existence, then we grow and learn about ourselves in the process. The number of lives you have experienced here is huge!! I call them Rounds of Incarnations... not just one or two, or maybe 100 lives, but literally thousands of them in order to Experience everything available here during different eras and ages.
More importantly, and as you are finding out for yourself, we have lived in each culture, possibly many times and we have attained to the highest and lowest of awareness. Meaning, you have already had lives where you were "Enlightened", and you followed up with other lives of small mindedness. The reasoning here is that lives do not follow a linear pattern going from the lowest possible awareness and Lack to the experience of Enlightenment and or Wealth. Lives are loosely based on certain parameters chosen by You the Soul, and once incarnate you fill in the gaps as you go... making it up along the way we could say.
You ask some great questions Serak.
While being human, we hold the smallest portion of our Awareness. We are also easily able to open up and remember/experience our own higher awareness as Soul, through meeting and communing with the Higher-Self, prior to re-merging in Awareness, in order to be all that we are in this physical 3D Earth. So we aren't here just to Wake Up and Ascend out of the place. That would be a worthless use of Experience to a Soul and to the Aware Universe.
Quantum Physics has stated for over 30 years that everything exists as a variety of vibrational forms, of the One Energy, that has Awareness. If it were not so, then we would not, could not, have awareness and therefore we would not exist currently in any form. Beautiful isn't it? This should answer one of your questions in your last paragraph.
Hope this is helpful food for thought. Be well.
On the one hand we have Einstein's theories on gravity and the universe, and they have an order to them, but then we have the quantum theories which are completely at odds with Einstein, because of all their chaos, so how can we possibly have a theory of everything, if one cant be connected to the other, and then we have the conflict between string theory and dark matter, because we have hypothesized theories of both, but we dont know if either actually exist, so how can we possibly be close to a theory of everything if we cant join the dots as it were.
My question is this: why is the center of the galaxy so important?
I wonder if you have grasped the idea that there is life that are denizens of these spiritual realms. Not just spirits floating free but that they are born, live, and die there. And in some cases are specialized in such a way that they can only exist as a being in these spiritral realms.
