Believe that you are an animal, evolved from ape, an organism with powerful intellect (Picture this). (think outside the box, outside the world for a second[Fu_ck whatever religion you're about to feebly try to defend{don't worry, its ok}]). You've never considered other animals and organisms as travelers to the astral, or even having an astral body, now have you? You've NEVER considered it possible, or important. Even if they did, they wouldn't understand it, right? It wouldn't be relevant. But since us animals have such evolved intellect (feel lucky to be living now, and not in ancient Mesopotamia  ), we can witness excursions into these higher dimensions. The astral is simply another dimension, and we can only understand certain concepts and things we see in it based on WHAT WE KNOW IN OUR 3 DIMENSIONED LIVES. That's why, at some times the astral can be a copy of what you know in the 3 dimensioned world, but you do not have the eyes to see or understand things UNIMAGINABLE which reside in that astral world. Why can you play around in the astral and change things and morph things, travel at light speed etc.? Because you can imagine what it would be like in the 3 dimensioned world. Layman's terms: You can imagine and understand the concepts of morphing and traveling at light speed right now, cant you? It's some of what you are capable of imagining in this 3 dimensioned world (ok maybe its 4 dimensioned, i forgot about time lol). Just like I am imagining you reading this and trying to understand what the hell im saying.    To get a better understanding, watch the "Visualizing the ten dimensions" video, it's somewhere on this forum (with that exact title). After watching that, you might think to yourself, "Ohhhhhhhh, ok.".

On the traveling at light speed note, ok i might kinda take that back i dont know. When i think of light speed i think of Star Wars and the stretching of the stars as they go "light speed ahead"  :-P ha.

If a baby had an astral projection it wouldn't know what the bonk is going on, because they haven't yet learned all the properties etc. of their 3 dimensioned world, MUCH LIKE AN ANIMAL COUGH COUGH.

As I was typing this, the creepy mysterious thought came to me that if we spend enough time in these other dimensions (by other dimensions im saying including but not limited to astral, RTZ, energy, whatever), we can learn to see beyond the restrictions of our own imaginations (picture that)......  :-o

oo this gets me excited!  :-D

What your guys' thoughts?

Maybe animals and babies experience a full physical/RTZ/astral overlay and really get a better picture of reality, but don't have the intellect to understand it. And as a baby starts to develop, they lose this overlay and begin to reside fully in the 3-D physical.

Ever think of that?

There are countless books written on the development and evolution of consciousness, especially in the realm of theosophy.

(Some things slip by - just bump it.)

I think everyone on this forum has considered the idea of species other than ourselves astral projecting more than just a possibility, but a probability.  You should read past posts before you try to "trip" our minds with your original thinking

Confusion separates us...and division teaches us that unity is the only truth.

A lot of what you wrote is still caught within a very human-centric view of reality. Yes we are human and so that is to be expected, but we must consider our interpretation of even basic things is enforced by our meat brain - rather than a representation of a more 'base' reality.
Even givens like shape and form are but a learnt concept. They might have no meaning outside of the narrow perception our brain/mind have learned to give them. The same could be said of time.
Humans are animals. Humans seemingly have consciousness. Animals seemingly have consciousness. Regardless of form, there is consciousness in both. We can talk about intelligence being some form of differentiating factor, but even intelligence as we measure it is simply interaction in a very narrow range of human defined parameters within the physical.
So we have consciousness, and everything we ever experience is our consciousness interpreting 'external' stimuli i.e. everything we ever interact with is formed of self (not to mistaken with 'we are all one' concepts).
I'd say splitting things into 'dimensions' is also limiting our perceptions. I, and many others, see everything as consciousness. The astral is not simply another dimension it's just a different locale within consciousness' sphere. The same as the physical – it's but another locale within consciousness sphere. A loose analogy could be local areas of turbulence in a transitory medium (such as water or gas).
If you really want to think radically, push the boundaries, then you need to look at everything you take for granted, every given, every 'known' and interpret it in terms of experience to date. Whilst doing this, also be aware of the human taught processes which decipher reality and categorise things into the reality we see around ourselves now – and don't take such categorisation for granted.
Animas, humans, astral, physical. All concepts which might have no greater meaning outside of a ephemeral glance from an evolving 'consciousness'.
