Caffeine and alcohol makes me feel nausea now

i have the same questions. I drink way too much caffeine, hurts the liver and makes me jumpy. I DO think addictive substances interfere with the mind/body/spirit equality, and attempting to balance these metaphysically while consuming drugs can cause problems. and yeah, caffeine is a bastard of a drug, and it's cheap!
If but we knew the power of our thoughts we would guard them more closely.

could you define low vibration a little more concerning drugs? I know that alcohol slows the metabolism, but caffeine speeds the heart rate? Is it the etheric energy body it affects negatively? I bet there are all kinds of chemicals society feeds us we don't even KNOW to avoid. Makes me wish i lived on a farm...

you know, the high fom alcohol is pretty crappy overall. FUN for a short time, especially with others, but i've had bad bad bouts with it and it's really not fun at all when addicted. It gets to the point where boredom intercedes unless one is intoxicated.

When i think about the way negs attach to you when you are weak or under the influence of anything, i feel like there are invisible leeches hovering around me. I've never seen them, but at the worst times of my life they've been there, sucking my vitality away. I find it interesting about how addictions can follow bloodlines. Both my grandparents died from it on my mothers side (well, grandmother died from emphazema too, but i don't smoke)

Alcohol is a depressent, thats why you feel so bad after the initial buzz.  It brings you up then once you stop drinking you come crashing down.

I got drunk a couple of times with double vision and almost throwing up and stuff and now if I drink alcohol I feel really sick.  Its probably just an over-reaction to alcohol.  So I don't drink it anymore and have no more of that seriously sick feeling.  Rum and Coke seriously does that to me, so if you still want to drink I would suggest something like wine maybe?

EDIT: probably something more fruity then carbonated or vinegerish may help.

It's the whole "the body is a temple" thing. The Christian doctrines definitely got this one right.

The more aware we become of the spirit world and the more we start to excercise our energy bodies, the more we come to realise that the things that are harmful or have in some ways a negative impact on our physical bodies, also have a negative impact on our energy bodies. Health wise the two are linked.

So....basically stay away from things that are not good for your health.

Except chocolate. Chocolate is one of the healthiest substances on earth.....and I'm going to keep on telling myself that!

The Maven,
sounds like you're one of those who's body is good at giving clear messages.

James.

Well, i'm not extremely in touch with my astral body now, but i'm working on it. I've found that raising energy is a little trickier than other people make it out to be, but everyone's different. Regardless, knowing what the side effects of alcohol are, besides carbs and a gut and liver problems, are pretty good incentive to lay off. Crippling your spiritual side is even worse than all of those.

This is odd, I've had my usual weekly glass of rum & coke, but tonight, it ain't giving me that same feeling of physical comfort it usually gives me. This time, I feel some dizzyness and a bit of nausea, and I don't like it one bit. I started developing my mind & spirit a few days ago, could this be the reason why? Could it be that my body suddenly rejects caffeine and alcohol because I started being aware of my third eye and trying astral projections, or is it totally unrelated? I've always felt a bit of rejection when it comes to alcohol and caffeine, but I didn't see the harm in the occasional rum&coke glass.

Well, I think I'll be skipping the rum & coke next week...
