Title: Astral plane is the 4th or 5th dimension?
Post by: adrian29 on October 04, 2014, 10:07:25
 Hello
I want to ask you if the astral plane is the 4th or 5th dimension? Thank you.

Neither as those are just subjective, meaningless labels.

This means that what is the 6th or 7th dimension for a person is the higher astral plane for another one?

Subjective, meaningless labels.  All of them.

Anyone who can "tell you" what they are has absolutely no clue and is simply parroting that which they were originally told.

It's all subjective, meaningless labels.

Thank you for answering me. So, the astral plane can have an huge number of dimensions? Like billions, trillions or more? Blessings.

"Size" as we physically know it doesn't exactly exist either.

It's kind of akin to me asking you what does the colour blue taste like?

This means that the astral plane is infinite? And that are an infinite number of dimensions there?

The "Astral" is infinite.  The "Physical" is infinite as well.

Suppose for a moment that someone told you the projection environment was the "5th dimension". What would it mean to you, exactly? How would this information provide you with anything useful about the experiences people had there?

It is sort of like a very small child asking a programmer if they were writing their code in C++ or Java. Suppose the programmer said C++... but the child knew nothing about these other than their names... what would that information tell the child about the programmer, or their program? Even if someone told you it was one or the other, what would you do with that information?

That depends on who is telling me that I'm in the 5th dimension. Because what the 4th dimension for a person is the 5th dimension for another one. I was asking this question because I want to know more about the astral plane.

The physical universe in infinite?

You're missing the point.

It doesn't matter who is telling you.  They're subjective labels which mean nothing.

The physical universe in infinite?
Physically it's finite.
Consciously, it's infinite.

Ultimately, the physical doesn't exist.  So of course it's infinite.

You kind of sound like you're fishing for a specific reply here... I can guarantee you won't find the answer you want.

I already found enough useful answers. I came here to learn more.  :-D

Greetings adrian29
My understanding (both through personal experience and from the 'trip' reports of many others) is that the Astral plane is the Fifth dimension. The fourth dimension is usually called the ethereal or etheric plane.
The term 'astral projection'properly applies to OBEs that involve the astral plane. I prefer to believe that 'normal' OBEs take place on the ethereal or etheric plane. This is the realm where physical world locations Do exist. The astral plane is much more exotic and mysterious partly because No physical world locations can be found there.
Hope that this (theoretical) explanations helps.

Regards  8-)

You can never have enough useful answers!  :-)

How would that be?
Because it's only data.  It's as big as it needs to be.  Which means a defined size.
Doesn't mean it can't or won't get bigger or smaller though... as it's only a matter of adding 1 to it.

Right, but if you could go as far as you could ever imagine, and it would keep being rendered, then on some level it would be infinite.
If it was finite, then wouldn't your consciousness eventually stop rendering anything at all?

I agree with this.

In my experience there is no such thing as a 3rd, or 4th, or 5th or umpteenth dimension.

In my experience there is only the Universe, and the astral dimensions ripped into space-time. An astral dimension is like a spiritual pocket-realm
that is caused by creating an etheric tear in the fabric of space-time. This dimension can then have countless levels and sub realms, and it can be
connected to a planet or person by creating a door or gateway. Astral beings can then enter and leave that realm and directly end up at whatever
place the gateway has been placed.

What some Christians call "the gates of hell", for example, are doorways to the Satanic realms. There are countless astral factions connected to
Earth, the Satanic faction is just one of them. They for example are at war with the Angelic faction, hence the whole old testament mythology as
a result of them bringing their war to Earth.

The heavens are not a separate world or realm, it is like a river of Light that flows through every solar system, and when we die we withdraw back
into this river. That is why "heaven" has no physical-like shapes or forms, bodies or rivers or forests, it is simply an ever-flowing energy of Light. We
are one with the Universe there, while still maintaining our own unique consciousness. People will see places and shapes during near-death events,
because that is what their human consciousness needs at that time. Becoming our true self again only happens after actual death, it doesn't occur
during near-death experiences.. we remain limited by our human consciousness, and that will color our experience during that event.
