That was a great poem Adrian. I have often commented to others when discussing religion that, imo, they are man-made institutions which create divisions and put up walls.
What is especially needed is to try and live in a way that helps others. That of course is the hard part. It's much easier to hide behind dogma or doctrine than to roll up your sleeves, get out in the world, and really try to live a spiritual and helpful life.
Thanks for posting that.
Very best,
Greetings Nick,
Thank you for your observations on the poem, and yes you are absolutely correct.
The "kingdom of heaven" on Earth is just that. A mirror of the higher realms where peace and harmony prevails. There is no competition and everyone helps everyone else as well as assisting in the ascent of mankind generally.
Aside from the creed and dogma which causes people to live their lives wrongly, i.e. as if it were an only life, gross materialism caused greed, avarice, hate, suffering and fear, as well a a complete imbalance in standards of living. If everyone were to realise the true meaning of life in the context of the path, they would be satisfied with living properly, and there would be plenty to go around with everyone working with everyone else, the stronger helping the weaker and so on. This is the task before mankind and the poem encapsulates some of the realities rather well.
With best regards,
Adrian.
The Holy Bible is Absolute Truth and Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to heaven. No ammount of fanciful poetry can change God's unchangeable Word.
All you have to do is beleive in the physical ressurection of Jesus the Saviour and pledge your soul to Him. There is no other Way and all the astral projection in the world is not going to atone for your sins.
Greetings Allanon,
Of course we most certainly respect your views.
I would just like to add however that the Rosicrucians do actually focus on the words of the bible such as they have been translated and and retranslated, interpreted and reinterpreted over the centuries. Rosicrucians focus particularly on the Gospels, and to teach their true and originally intended meaning. They also probably have access to the original words of the gospels as originally documented back then.
I would suggest that everyone should be interested in the true meaning of the words of the Master Jesus and his followers?
I am not a Rosicrucian, but do have considerable respect for their philosophies and teachings.
With best regards,
Adrian.
It's not really worth the effort Adrian.. it's like talking to a brick wall where Allanon is concerned!

Nice poem. I love the poems and books of Max Heindel.
Peace & Love,
Paul
Greetings everyone,
Here is a poem by Max Heindel of the Rosicrucian Fellowship which bridges the differences between religion and true Spirituality very well.
Enjoy!
With best regards,
Adrian.
No man loves God who hates his kind,
Who tramples on his brother's heart and soul;
Who seeks to shackle, cloud, or fog the mind
By fears of hell has not perceived our goal.
God-sent are all religions blest;
And Christ, the Way, the Truth, the Life,
To give the heavy laden rest
And peace from sorrow, sin, and strife.
Behold the Universal Spirit came
To all the churches, not to one alone;
On Pentecostal morn a tongue of flame
Round each apostle as a halo shone.
Since then, as vultures ravenous with greed,
We oft have battled for an empty name,
And sought by dogma, edict, cult, or creed,
To send each other to the quenchless flame.
Is Christ then twain? Was Cephas, Paul,
To save the world, nailed to the tree?
Then why divisions here at all?
Christ's love enfolds both you and me.
His pure sweet love is not confined
By creed which segregate and raise a wall.
His love enfolds, embraces human kind,
No matter what ourselves or Him we call.
Then why not take Him at His word?
Why hold to creeds which tear apart?
But one thing matters, be it heard
That brother love fill every heart.
There's but one thing the world has need to know.
There's but one balm for all our human woe:
There's but one way that leads to heaven above--
That way is human sympathy and love.
--Max Heindel.
