Hey people,

I got an idea of a movie and it got stuck in my head all day,

What happens when we die?,i know there are religious teachings of heaven and hell, reincarnation, and the focus thing that frank talks about (focus 4) or any other ways. but i want to know which one is actually more 'solid' if you know what i mean. which one is more real-ish. I would appreciate the comments :-)

Thanks

Well, to me... the Belief System Territories (actually Focus 3 :)) is the more real ideology.

I've been tossing around the idea lately of writing a story regarding the wider reality.
Something where I can draw from my experiences and turn it into a literary masterpiece!  :)

Depends on what you consider to be "real". That's why people get stuck in F3 in the first place - to them it's absolutely real.

I've actually been taking some time during my Lucid Dreams and Projections to just stand and look around... take in as much as I can.
And I'm always amazed at just how real everything is.  I KNOW it's non-physical... but it's as every bit real as this physical reality is.

I have noticed this. I had a lucid dream not to long ago and was very suprised to look around and see just how real everything was. It was amazing!

Ahh yes, projection experiences can be quite amazing.  The feeling of bliss can sometimes be indescribable.  Full blown conscious projections that many experience, including the ones that I have experienced, are normally much more real than the physical, which is understandable given that the inner realms are at a much higher vibratory rate than the physical.  Everything is so incredibly solid, vivid, and bright that the physical world seems dim and dreary by comparison.  The wonderful thing about projecting is that it doesn't require intense training and complex methods to have them, and also the experiences are not cumulative so having one or more doesn't mean the next one will be more vivid or real than the previous projections.  My very first projection was so incredibly real and amazing that it totally blew me away that left me with a feeling of bliss all throughout the day.  Not all projections are as vivid as others, but most usually are very real indeed.  But as usual it just depends on the person.  And of course beliefs and perceptions play a major role in the type of projection that is experienced.  But the most important thing to having one is awareness.

Xanth,

That's really amazing, What your saying is that during your projection, if you slow down and take the time to focus in on the details, that they actually LOOK the exact way they do in the physical plane? I have never had a projection that my surroundings were not noticeably that of the astral or other planes..? Although I have not projected as much as you have and do not have at all the experience with actually being projected that you do (At least from the posts that I've seen) so I'm curious, that once your good enough and familiar enough that your surroundings actually look physical like 100%?
May I ask what your surroundings look/feel like to you when you project?

For example... my previous projection, the grassy field...
The grass looked like it could use a mowing... swaying in the slight warm breeze...
The blue sky was such a deep, beautiful blue, that I could barely tear my eyes away from them to look around.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky... I remember putting my hands up into the sky to take it all in.  I don't remember seeing a sun though.  O_o
The people standing around, individually and in groups, looked as alive as a train platform full of people waiting for their train... talking to one another and just mulling about, waiting.

It was all very much like physical reality, just more vivid and more spectacular.

In the non-physical, your surroundings are going to look as you subconsciously believe and expect them to be.  Somewhere in the back of my mind, I expected to see this field.  Sure, OBJECTIVELY it's probably something beyond human comprehension... but SUBJECTIVELY, to me, that is how this particular scene formed using my experiences and memories so that I could understand it properly.

This is the nature of the non-physical reality.
Actually, I'm slowly starting to understand that this is also the very nature of this physical reality as well.  :)

As Personalreality has been tooting... your perception really is 100% of reality.  It took me a while to grasp that concept.

we speculate on death because we're afraid of it.  we might say we're just curious, but the ego is really just afraid of it.  but we can't know what's most likely until we do it.
be awesome.
