That's great timeless.  You are well on your way. [^]

But, what doyou mean by break the chains of rebirth?  I mean, iif it is an endless cycle, how can we?  And if we do, then what?

Wow, I feel so far behind... I don't know whether this is my first time on earth or my last time or whether I'm somewhere in the middle.

When I was young and falling asleep I would frequently hear my mind ask the question, "What do you desire?"  Sometimes I would drag myself to a fuller consciousness and list off tons of things I'd love to have i.e. a pony.  You know the type of list I am talking about.  Slowly the list grew shorter until one night in my early teens I answered it by saying "Spirituality".

For a time my mind stopped asking me a question before I fell asleep.  But then a new question started to be asked, "What is important to you?" Like the beauty pagent queens my answers would be world peace, no wars.  You know the list.  But then one night my answer was very different.  I suddenly realized that what was important to me was not necessarily important or even right for others and that the question had not really changed.  I desired something because it was important to me.  But this was my desire, my wish, my WILL and that each person had their own will and wishes.  Their own free will.  My answer became, "To do God's will".
Note GOD's will = what is best for ALL.

This is when the Trial by Fire (low level initation) really began for me.  Trial by Fire takes us to hell and leaves us there for a while.  You think life is tough now just wait!  To pass this trial the person must come to understand the following things. "That you know without even the smallest doubt that you and all others are greatly loved, that you are immortal so nothing can truly be taken from you, that the greatest evil is within, that judgement is to be used on self." For me to say this is meaningless.  You must feel it and it must become an integral part of who you are and how you deal with the world on a daily basis. You must believe this even if your child is taken from you.  Even if all hell is breaking lose around you.  Even as you watch the greatest injustice, even as untold evil is staring you in the face and you alone must conquer it.  The trial by fire is wrapped within numerous fairy tales where the knight slays the dragon (the dragon within...NOT without).  So many dream of ascension but few wish to pass through the quick sand, the trap doors, the snake invested pits inside themselves to reach the treasure within.

We wish to ascend to escape this world.  The endless cycle of birth and rebirth.  Yet we continually ignore the questions our mind asks us.  We read about spirituality. We 'try' to fulfill its doctrine. We think we are doing well.  BUT when things get really, really, really scary, do we get it?  Do we truly understand? Do we take in what is needed and let go of what is not, in order to go to the next level?

The trial by water is much more subtle.  There is no longer a very visible mighty dragon within to slay.  Now we must face a far more subtle evil that we grow to discover is much more dangerous, much more deceptive than the first. This is where we discover just how attached we are to the things around us.  How attached to our habits we are.  How much we need to clean up our act.  Judgement turns full force on self. Only after passing this test do we come to see that what is unseen inside of us is far more real than what is seen around us.

As you pass through these trials or Halls of Initiation you start to discover one thing.  That while we should be good keepers of this world and serve ALL. We can not institute our will and wishes upon it.  Thus we should do our very best to bring good to this world but ultimately what happens is not nearly as important as how we serve and how we bring as much of heaven to earth as we can.  The rest is distraction from this.

One last thing:
I can understand why many Westeners say, "Look how much I have been given. I must have cleared a lot of karma.  I must be well on the way to spiritual advancement.  Way ahead of all those people still struggling."  It certainly crossed my mind. If this idea has or does ever sneak into your head my recommendation is for you to squash it fast.[}:)]  A rich man is facing some of the greatest seductions of this world.  Attachments. Materialism. Greed. Arrogance. Remember the story of the rich man and the eye of the needle.[?] These are problems that are much less pronounced for a man who lives more simply.  So who is God testing more?  If you wish to break the chains of rebirth you must use judgement on self in the most frank, clean, clear manner as possible. Leave no stone unturned, no reaction unacknowledged.  Only when we move past 'our' reaction into ACTION ( in other words SERVICE to ALL) are we starting to move far enough along the road of Initiation to break the endless cycle.   When you see the news and it angers you.  Do not let it anger you.  Instead self reflect.  Understand self and then act in service to GOD (ALL humanity).  No action is a waste of time if it is done in service of others.  If all hell breaks loose act, serve, stay firm in resolve to serve, let nothing distract you. Just make certain of one thing, that you are serving the greater good of ALL.

Note: ALL means others, self, planet, everything.  No greater weight given to any. Equity.

Love, Light, and Wisdom to ALL

AND most of all remember that a truly wise man knows he has not even begun to understand it ALL and therefore learns from ALL at the exclusion of none.  I am not even beginning to understand how huge this ALL is.

A really excellent post, and which everyone would do well to take careful note of!

With best regards,

Adrian.

Someone told me I may be a starperson (an indigo child, as I was born in the 80's). Does anyone have info on starpeople or know a good website where I can find it?

Shawn McCaffrey

I don't but I was born in 86 so you got me curious as well now.  [:D].

And after re-reading your post up top, timeless, I can say that I bet I am going through trial by fire now.  I was told by failing school my future was over, and my "friends" tried to tell me I might as well, live it up, drugs, late drunken parties, etc.. But I decided not to, and Wildbank was sent to the rescue.  Now I am turning around, slowly.  And so I was wondering, could I do both trials in one life?  I know I am far from either but, just curious, I would like control over my incarnating.  But I still am pretty confused over that part of what you said. [^]  But I get the jist of it.  So what really happens if you go through the trials as you call em.  Like, it sounds to me as you are saying, instead of you incarnating randomly on earth, you get to pick, or not to come back, or something like that.  I guess your so uh.. wise or smart.. it just went over my head... Not necessarily. A weapon is only as good as the one who wields it.

Wow. This is so profound. Great post! Posts, I guess.

Good posts. Good ideas.

Have you considered that the trials we face in a life we have chosen for ourselves are nothing more than an excuse for allowing us to proceed with the journey?
It seems that on the physical plane we have a strong need to win the right to advance, so to speak. No good can come without great hardship kind of thing.

And the sword is a beaut.

Still one more trial to go though, Trial by Air. Know a little about this but have not experienced it so I do not really have any deep understanding of it, wisdom. Frankly...I am just enjoying a break right now. Weekend is here so need to spend family time. I will not have much opportunity to answer posts in detail. Very Sorry!

How do you know that the test is not knowing what the test is, not knowing if you truly passed the others and not being so proud, limiting the ego.  Just a thought.

Shawn McCaffrey

Sorry for the harsh sound of my last post... I didn't mean you had a ego I could see.  I was just saying in general.. You know.  [:P]  Just so you didn't think I was crakin on you.

Greetings Timeless,

Excellent posts indeed, and than you very much for your kind remarks [:)]

In answer to one of the questions regarding reincarnation - yes, humans do indeed determine the next incarnation from the Spirit worlds before any incarnation - incarnation is into a situation(family, location, circumstances etc.) which are most likely to result in gaining the real life experiences needed, and equilibration of Karma, to add to the higher self in the eternal journey towards perfection. Accordingly, each and every person should engage in deep introspection as to what their real life purpose really is, because if anyone fails to grasp it, and live their lives accordingly, it will be necessary to come back for another try at that particular purpose, until the lesson are learned and Karma equlibrated. Each incarnation has a different purpose, but all with the common objective of perfection of the higher self and onward progress.

Extrication from the illusion of the material world with all of its materialism, creed and dogma is a very good start, along with the realisation of lifes true purpose. If humanity knew their real purpose, and their ultimate destination, the world would be a far better place, and this is one of the greatest challenges right now.

As for the Elements - these are fundamental to everything in the entire Universe. Everything that was ever created is composed of the Universal (not physical) elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth, and how they interact, as well as of the Electric and Magnetic fluids and Vital Energy (Prana, Psi, Chi, etc.) which we all breath and energise from. As Timeless has said, we are all affected by the elements, each element having its particular influences on the Soul, and the ongoing objective is to balance the elements in order to progress with enoblement and ascent. The saying "know thyself" is fundamentally important, as is avoiding the material traps and pitfalls of the physical world. Every circumstance, suffering, difficult times are all extremely valuable learning opportunities, and should always be welcomed, faced and completed, while giving thanks to Divine Providence and the higher spheres for providing these opportunities.

Man is made in the "image of God" - yes - this is very true - but not the "physical" image of the religions, but rather the Spiritual image in accordance with the Akasha principle, the elements, and the Great Spirit, The One (God if you prefer), of which each and everyone is an immortal part.

Thanks again Timeless for this excellent topic!

With best regards,

Adrian.

Timeless, I have nothing more to offer than to thank you for your most beautiful and insightful post. Although nearly all the post here are very deep and to the point, your post stroke me unusually strongly.

I have been wondering lately what the real purpose for me to be here on earth is. Why I was born. I mean that this material life with acquisition of things does not make me happy, there must be some deeper thing to do, something WORTH doing. And until I get it, I will try to live spiritual life with appreciation of all and harm to none.

Thanks again for your post!

Thank you timeless for sharing your amazing post. It inspires me to see that one must conquer oneself before one can love the world. Especially in the Western society, humans are so engrained with material and 'self' posessions that we destroy our spirit and in turn, the world into a muddy confusion. We complain about things that we do not realize we created, and worst of all, love has almost gone unfelt among the population. People are either so arrogant and ignorant, that they do not realize what the ALL is, let alone feel how ALL affects each and every one of us in an underlying way, or they are so sensitive to external influences that they allow these to control their lives.
I believe that no matter who one may be, we all have a purpose on Earth and are set to put that purpose into action. One must find and clear themselves before they are ready to spread that unearthly spark to others who are equally equipped to handle it. I think that's how it roughly works, but words could NEVER decribe the power of ALL; it is probably just too great for a human mind to detect it.
We must try though.
