Hello narfellus,

That's a very nice thought.... don't let it go.

I have two children, one 3 years the other 1.
I have been teaching my 3 year old visualisation techniques. I ask him to close his eyes and tell me what he can see...
What's interesting is that he can see stuff in his minds eye and he explains in great detail... Which makes me think that most children are very spiritual and have these abilities naturally when born which slowly fades away as they are not used and recognized in today's society.

There is one big problem here.... "Religion", spirituality is associated with religion...
And we don't know enough or have any scientific facts that the after life exists. People nowadays base there life's on facts and wouldn't want there children being taught something which isn't scientifically proven.

Don't want to be too pessimistic, but... the problem with psychic ability, as with science, is that it can be used to do bad things too...

Yes, but is misuse of psychic ability stemming from the ability itself or the way the person wants to use it? I like to think of it more like spiritual awareness, and like Picard said, our society does not teach its children ANYTHING about deep spirituality. But spirituality is not religion. Religion can put you on the path to finding ones true self, but i've realized you really have to search hard on your own.

Of course there are hidden dangers in everything. If our children were taught to astrally project at an early age, and if religions faded and were no longer needed, i really would have a hard time imagining what our society would look like. Astronomically different, i can tell you that.

Yes I totally agree with you...  
My personal feelings are that there's too many conflicts in religion because of the differences in beliefs.
If mankind had one belief (Spirituality) wouldn't this world be peaceful.

Of-course spirituality would probably then be divided into different beliefs, so you can't win.

I surpose what I'm trying to say is; if we all just some how knew of our real existence and what we are all spiritually capable of and had help from spiritual guides along our chosen path... then........

but then that's probably the reason why we're here in the first place, to learn from our mistakes and evolve spiritually.

i dont beleive any true psychic would be capable of misusing there "powers", one thing for me developing my psychic skills are that ive become more  *aware*  which includes being more aware of the good and evil in myself and in my thoughts- now i realise that deliberate malice on my part only aids in my own destruction- a true psychic would probably know this aswell.

narfellus, i have that feeling too, that  more people are awakening to spiritual and paranormal concepts- the numbers can only grow, its only a matter of time i think.

Yes, more and more people are becoming aware, but they must be careful! I've been reading a lot about Kundalini and the gradual opening of the Chakras, and it is potentially the most powerful force in the Universe. Misuse, or accelerated use of the Fire Dragon neural pathways can cause terrible brain damage, madness and psychosis. The knowledge is there for the taking, but i hope people can temper it with wisdom. Look before you leap, i say.

I've been thinking recently that the human race is taking an interesting direction. If we were to all move into a spiritually enhanced state where all men and women were taught as children about how to develop their natural psychic ability and connection to God and each other, we would all be better off. So few people understand Who and What they are, and are embedded firmly in the dream of the world and its illusion. But i can see a wonderful evolutionary trend where we could really become something akin to angels on earth. The thought makes me feel calm and happy, like it will all work out one of these days (well past our lifetimes!)
