Hi Euphoric Sunrise,

I have experienced similar, as nearly everytime I meditate, sounds seems to be almost physical in their nature.

It could be what daem0n says - sensitivity.

It is a strange experience though, when the refrigirator's on/off click feels like a "bullit of sound" hitting you physically, and it feels like you "draw yourself back"  [:P]

BTW: Are there any expression / word in english describing the Feeling of energy, other than the word Feeling? ... I would like to be able to differentiate the use of the word Feel somehow, as this sometimes create confusion or a lack of understanding / differentiation.

Think -> Thoughts
Feel -> Feelings
??? -> Energy

(In Danish we use the word Føle when we talk about feelings, and Mærke when we talk about energy - the meaning being Feel the texture of this fabric, or feel the energy, or .... ????

Cheers from Denmark,

I'm not sure whether this belongs here or in energy body developement, but i guess we'll see what happens.

I've noticed during meditation and projection attempts that my energy seems to expand, or just become more sensitive. For example, when i have been sitting there in meditation for a while and somebody opens a door close by i can 'feel' the door open. It's like when something moves or makes a sound it sends out an energy wave and my energy is effected by it. I've never heard about this before and was wondering if anybody has any theories on what it is?

Yes that's exactly what i'm talking about Kenneth, that "draw yourself back" thing. I wasn't sure what to call it hence why i put the word feelings in those talking marks.
I guess it could be, as daem0n says "sense", but perhaps to make it more specific it could be refered to as "tactile sense"? If you want to get really technical - "external tactile sensing" i guess :P

So do you think it is just that the meditative state sensitises the energy body and so makes it more receptive to vibrations?
It makes sense to me, as meditation would raise the body's vibrational frequency so it could detect those higher vibrations that it normally couldn't (ie. the energetic disturbance a door might make when opening and closing).

Hi Europhic,
When we meditate we open to more energy, this in turn makes our energy field expand.  When someone or something enters or otherwise does something inside this expanded field we feel it.  Yes, it is hightened sense, as your senses expand with the energy field.

The drawing back is quite normal too.  It's an in-built safety mechanism to protect the body.  Sometimes we get it in our sleep while we are Astral, and we most notably sense or feel it as that Falling sensation as we zing back to our bodies.

Kenneth,
The English language is terrible for trying to illustrate anything beyond the basics.  We could refer to our emotional and tactile senses as 'feeling' and the other sensing when we perceive energy we could call 'Feeling'.  Not much difference to be sure, but maybe just enough to illustrate the differences.

Love Always.  :D
