Have confidence

     The human mind, as evolved as it is, from time to time confuses itself with its own complexity. Fear, Nervousness, and trying to overgrasp simple concepts are just a few examples what happens to our hard-set spiderweb programmed cpu's of minds when they are confused.

     However, there is a solution: Confidence. Confidence in what you're doing, confidence in your mental setting, don't think that if what you're feeling or thinking is different than others, or if it passes through your judgement as weird or "not normal", that you have to change. Everything you do is right because there is no written wrong. You may be what society calls "ugly" and you think of yourself as lower because of it, thinking that you will never get a boy/girlfriend. Well where does it say that? And who decided the standards for beauty anyway? No one. You might be past your prime, and consider yourself too old to follow your long sought dream(s) because of work, kids maybe grandkids, and all other responsibilities. But how will you feel in your last days when you look back and say, "well why didn't i do it? It wouldn't have hurt to MAKE MYSELF HAPPY." There are NO standards and NO rules as to what you can do in your life.

     There's an old saying that tells you to not to follow the paths of others, but to make your own. What does that mean to you? It might make you feel energized, like you want to follow those words and make your life better. You might think that for a minute. Then you analyze it further, come up with your own conclusions as why to not follow it. But of course there's another possibility, where you forget the words over time and their meanings to you diminish in following suit. Or... you choose to ignore the wise words. Out of fear. Call it how you like it, but you're definetely afraid of something if you can't apply a simple phrase to your daily life or simply don't want to.

     No matter who you are, no matter your position in life, no matter your social class, ethnicity, or age, look at who you are and look at your future with blind confidence that who you are and what your doing is right. Know it. Because it's true.

Thank you for your post. My trust to myself and life gets even bigger when I see beautiful thoughts like yours. It requires a lot of strength and courage to live and walk one's OWN path, but hey..it's worth it !

Yes, it is very worth it. My point of posting was to share one of my viewpoints on life in hopes that people would embrace the good advice into their own lives. And seeing that there are people that understand what I'm trying to say... well... it just gives me that warm fuzzy feeling
