Summon the priests.
Have the priests surround the child and fill the child with prayers of purifying light.
Summon the 'village/community' have them sit and pray for the child.
Watch for divine signs, all will know when the child is healed.
This is religion, and it's effect is based in the honor to the truth of a species.
Without any kind of religious practice, we fall short of being fully energized. All have their times and seasons, and we are fortunate that Jehovah Love has given us this things from the purity of his gift and faith in us.
Let it begin, and put the flyers in every mail box, "Religion verified by scientific processes... healing energies and the power of prayer/speech"
Start healing the ones you love, stop killing them with insanity. Give their heart it's freedom and let them play, free, even the animals would allow it, even so, set a dedicated adult guard, and maintain the perimetery with all due sensory appreciation.

Nothing is wrong in being different, it's the fear of it that's wrong.
I have seen people with supposed deformations and they seem balanced in their sorrows and happiness like anyone else, it's hard to imagine when your not born with it. Sure people who dont know better can be fearful, thus act in very unjust ways.
I take this is something personal and i'm sorry.
