Help me, crazy coincidences....

I don't know if I've had such strong synchronicity in my life before.....

I'm trying to find a rational way to explain it, but I'd also like some "Mystic" interpretations.

Okay where to begin? It's all so long .... so I think I will just cut to the most important and solid happenings.

I'm a member of facebook, a college social network basically... I see her profile, it catches my eye because I've been frustrated with people and their stupid profiles that contain next to no info about them.... she on the other hand linked to a description of her life story.

So I message her saying I'm glad she did that, I had wanted to do so, etc....
right... next day.... I see her in the cafeteria... alright coincidence enough, but what strikes me as odd is that she mentions that SHE IS MOVING INTO MY APARTMENTS .... okay!

So the NEXT DAY (or maybe 2 days later) I'm sitting around fantasizing about going to six flags, with her.... yeah that might be kind of sad, whatever.

when I get home that day, I read her xanga and lo and behold, SHE'S GOING TO SIX FLAGS.

I message her about that (no reply since then )

right so.. she ends up not going though.. whatever.

Today... today today.... I open some chakras, go eat.... following the content of a NIGHTMARE I had last night (i.e. I'm repeating my behavior in it... )
well ..... okay I go to eat..... not only is Devin there again.... MY EX-GF IS THERE...

now let me explain this... I've been dealing with bouts of lonliness, and she was the only "g/f" i've ever had, but the relationship was bad... right well....

SHE DOESN'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL

my ex is here, but she doesn't go here, this is 45 minutes away from where she goes.

This means one of only three logical things:
1) she is enrolling here
2) she is visiting some friends... however she was alone.
3) .... visiting family that goes here ? again she was alone.

Now I'm not 100% positive these two were the people I think they were, but... I tell you, my ex was wearing that trippy shirt she always wears, I mean.... I've never seen anyone else with that kind of shirt... I'm fairly certain it was her... and I'm fairly certain Devin was Devin.

so what what what what what does this mean ? I mean I'm starting to piece interpretations together, it's a big picture to look at, and these kind of coincidences surround other people recently as well...

however....

THE DREAM... okay  it just..... it seems like that's what the dream was telling me of... only thing is... the dream clearly stated "2 horrific images might be about to appear"

there is nothing horrific about encountering these 2 girls... BUT THEN AGAIN it was a LD, so I jumbled up and confused things, and right before the nightmare scared me and woke up, a little girl was rising up out of my bed.

2 girls ? I don't know!!!!

I know that if I hadn't done what I did in the dream just now, I wouldn't have eaten dinner at the right time to see these girls, as I normally go closer to 5:30.

so... I mean...

if you all need any elaboration let me know, I'm hoping this is enough info to sort of explain things without being too in depth and confusing...

what do you think? I'm on the right path perhaps, but what am I supposed to do? I like Devin..... but... she is blatantly ignoring my messages and it would be 100% stalkerlike to approach her in person when she doesn't know me......

It's not exactly a coincidence at all. Noticing someone after you start thinking of them is not unusual, because thinking of them almost by definition means that you tune yourself into noticing when they are in the vicinity.

Going to six flags is an extremely popular thing to do, especially during the beginning of the summer. Thoughts and discussions about Six Flags towards the end of the school year are not at all unusual.

Six Flags is a hyperreality. You should not be ashamed that it is the scene of your fantasy, because that's exactly how it is marketed and why it has gained the popularity it has. Since Six Flags is a closed area, parents feel comfortable in allowing their pre-adolescent children to freely roam the park on their own with their friends. This tends to be a powerful first taste of freedom and independence for every child, such that it is imprinted in the psyche.

Six Flags already resembles a dream. It's entirely appropriate.

right so.. she ends up not going though.. whatever.

And also very normal for plans like these to be changed, namely to adjust for everyone's summer schedules. This is the time when people start planing for the summer.

This means one of only three logical things:
1) she is enrolling here
2) she is visiting some friends... however she was alone.
3) .... visiting family that goes here ? again she was alone.

Or she could have had some kind of meeting, or she could have just been passing through, or she could have just been there thinking of enrolling, or she could have gone there to visit her new boyfriend, or she could have been there just to confuse you... etc.

The point is you don't know. Don't pretend you do.

Well, if you're so certain (100%) then forget about her.

The absolute worst thing you can do now is feel like you must do something.

But if you must do something, just have fun. Be a kid. Make friends, laughter, money, art, and love (not castles in the sky).

Okay,  I respect your attempts at giving a rational explanation Telos. But I think your intentions before you even replied seemed to be that you wanted to talk down this boys mystified conception of events.

I think your agenda Telos may be in this boys best interest but never the less it is your agenda and it is skewed with some personal issues you have had with mysticism and objectivity. Which is fine. You have given me a very good contrast to bounce my views for holy reality off of:

Holy, I believe you're a very imaginative boy who has a tendency for artistic ability of some form and that means you probably have a more developed right temporal lobe. People who are psychic have developed right temporal lobe activity.

You're very spiritual and so you live a life where the universe is going to send you signs. You know this already and you don't need Telos to deny it or me to condone it!  It simply is true.
What you really want to know is does the fact that you have so many signs leading you toward Devin mean she is your next girlfriend?

The answer is no.  She represents a few things for you.
Fear of being hurt.  Moving forward. Coming out of your shell more. Having confidence in yourself without the need of a relationship'  all those things and more. Whatever you're working through right now is being triggered and helped along by your attraction to this new person.

What you need my boy is a hug, and a supportive friend.
Keep your hopes alive and ask for the universe to send you your perfect lover by divine design.

I'm convinced that the sub-conscious (which could be spiritual in nature) can certainly throw these things at you and synch up events for you, but at any rate......

the girl i saw, was not my ex... not at all, she just dresses exactly like her and has a similar build, which is kind of eery.

right down to the sandals and pants and the exact same shirt lol.

maybe instead of being blown away by this 'occurrence' and talking about it, expecting certain reactions, maybe you should try to realize there may be something trying to guide your sight and perhaps you should learn how to use it rather than blaming it on coincidence

Agree with Sellerofpurple.

The more you consider the possibility that there really is no such thing as coincidence, that such events are actually syncronicities, the more you pay attention to them, the more of them you will experience.
