What do you want to do after death?

From your experiences... Does this sound possible?

When I pass away... I want to reunite with my loved ones. Experiment... Visit places I could not visit in this physical realm. All in all though. I want to help those who have a hard time passing on to the greater reality. Maybe come back down to earth every now and then and do some people watching. I do have a question though. I DO NOT want to reincarnate. I would rather just grow in the astral. I really do not want to repeat the process here on earth. I want to live a great life here but when my time comes. I want to stay who I am for eternity but in the astral. I have read on reincarnation and everyone seems to have different theories. I know Sylvia Browne says you reincarnate but only when you are ready. Well what if I get to the astral, and decide I don't want to have anything to do with reincarnation at all? From YOUR experiences can you maybe shed some light on this for me? I do not want to come back as another human/animal or what not, and live the physical again. I like my personality... I do not want to lose everyone I love from this life either. Even if I meet them when I reincarnate and they just appear as different people... but are really my loved ones from my past life... But if I came back as another person and had a total memory loss it wouldn't matter anyway. Does this make sense? From your experiences does this sound like something I can do after I pass?

On the other hand... What about you? What do you wish to do after you pass away?

You'll have another (over)view about this physical life when you're there (back home) again. Then this life will start to appear as a kind of dream including the personality you were, which is a kind of 'role' you played. The loved ones you were with might well be also 'loved ones' in the spiritual realm. But they experience it, of course, the same way as you. They played a role. They are still your friends and loved ones, so to speak, but as you, they are different and have the (quote Monroe:) different overview.
So, what you want now (which is all understandable as the ego clings to its life personality) is not necessarily what you want 'then' again when back home. It might be different from what you think you want to do (after death) from your viewpoint now. So we really cannot say what our plan is and what we will do next.

I like that response Volgerle. We don't make our overall choices from here, we do it there from a completely different perspective. Steiner wrote a book on the subject called, "Life Between Death and Rebirth" that explores the idea in detail.

My answer is simple: I want to be worthy enough to be able to join my fiancée. As such, I must strive in this life to discern and complete my purpose in being here. I must progress as much as I am able, that she isn't so far ahead of me in spirit that she is unattainable for me.

As for the rest, I have little to add to the previous two comments. Your personality should be the same but your perspectives will be different. Old memories will return and opportunities you likely can't currently truly imagine will become options again. You will decide then whether you care to reincarnate. In one of her books, Silvia Browne mentions that her guide, Francine, has only lived one life on earth and didn't like it much so hasn't cared to try for another one.

You understand the concept of loved ones and espouse a desire to help others, so I'd expect the transition to be a simple one for you.

Hi there, Speaking of death prediction, I find it really odd that one of the on-line death prediction services showed me the same death date that I was foretold in my dream about a year ago. http://yourdeathdate.info/1/index.html - I can't explain this coincidence in any other way except that there must be some kind of magic involved

Maybe your dream was a foretelling of a bogus website prediction.
